This Buddha and Egyptian-themed villa features a heated pool, cave spa and lush gardens. Located 800 metres from the A7 Motorway, Villa Rei Jaume is 10 minutes’ drive from central Alicante. The spa is set in a large natural cave, which is more than 60 metres deep. It includes a Turkish bath, hot tub and natural foot baths. Aromatherapy is also available. The spacious themed rooms feature elaborate murals and columns. Air-conditioned and heated, each room has a flat-screen TV and garden views. Some rooms have free access to the spa and the pool and some require a surcharge. The bathroom comes with a bathtub or a shower and includes free toiletries. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. Other facilities include an à la carte restaurant, a snack bar, and a chill-out area. Food service on the terraces, chill out area and in rooms is available for a surcharge.

We are still in a bubble 3 days after returning from our stay in Villa Iacme. This is not a hotel, it's an experience! Andres made us feel like friends, invited to share his beautiful, unique, luxurious, elegant home. A true gentleman, that has the ability to make anyone feel "at home". The friendly, efficient butler Manolo, was ready to cater to our every whim. Making any request seem effortless! The Belgian chef is a magician with food, the meal was divine! From the time the huge gate closes .

The individuality of the five different bedrooms, the quality of so many sumptuous fixtures and fittings, beautiful common areas that you don't even use in good weather, the excellent pool, the very unusual cave-spa and the romantic chillout areas are superb. But the standard of welcome and service delivered by Iacme's staff is what truly sets this place apart. Without question, this is an excellent find that I'm almost loath to tell anyone else about! Just a note of caution. We stayed here for our fortieth wedding anniversary and we could not have picked a better venue. Andres and his team arranged flowers, champagne and a romantic dinner including a violinist. My wife was moved to tears. Nothing was too much trouble. As for the hotel, you can feel the love as you walk through the door. There is a calming and relaxing feel about the place with a wonderful ambiance. A very beautiful and charming hotel, you will not be disappointed. Barrie & Gabby London. Everything about the property was designed for relaxation. The scented sticks, the amazing Spa Pools. I have never felt so relaxed while staying anywhere. The staff were charming and helpful, and the gardens a delight to sit in during the evening while sipping a glass of wine. I was staying to support my son who was competing in a competition, although he stayed elsewhere. It was a very comfortable place to stay as a solo traveller, I felt relaxed and reassured at all times. From the moment you enter the gates of Villa Iacme, you enter a world of peace and tranquility. You are soothed by the sound of water, birds and rustling bamboo in the garden as you swim in the pool or laze in one of the many relaxation areas, hidden from the world. The service from Andres, Manolo and the staff is first class, as are the rooms and the food. Believe all you read about this magical Villa. Gail and Marion. Although only an overnight stay the time spent here was a joy! The hotel team were attentive and friendly. The Suite we stayed in was an eclectic mix of styles and absolutely stunning. On arrival we were given a guided tour of the beautiful gardens,spa and hotel, and were delighted with the calm and tranquil surroundings. A little piece of paradise and a truly wonderful " find" in suburban Alicante. Everything was superb, from the friendly welcome, to the super surroundings to the decor and the beautiful bedroom and bathroom. Nothing was anything but perfect.....What a fab place.....Would highly recommended it, a must visit if you want to be pamperd and made to feel special and the spa was brilliant so unusual. The hotel is near to Alicante but in a beautiful garden setting with little private areas to relax. We ate outside at a private table. The four course menu with a bottle of wine for 22.50 was good value and delicious. The spa in a cave was great too, but the covered outdoor pool was actually too hot!. A truly wonderful retreat,we had a room with a terrace and I did not want to leave.the decor in the house is amazing and the garden area was so tranquil. The owner was very friendly and helpful on our arrival and through out our stay. Loved the heated swimming pool and the Spa area was so relaxing. faultless...the owner and staff cant do enough for you. excellent spa set in a cave. Very good food and bar service. ideal for chill out break. The property is beautiful and tastefully furnished. I would like to return in the summer to appreciate the outside grounds. well done!. What is not to like!!! I have stayed in lots of hotels but I can safely say that I have never stayed in one as fantastic as this!!! I didn't want to check out and waited until the last possible moment to do so!! I cannot recommend this more highly, Andres is an absolute star!. Absolutely amazing....a truly wonderful place to stay. I am in awe of the Villa Rey ....I can not wait until I can return, the spa is fabulous, the gardens are so peaceful, the staff are friendly and helpful...it's now in my Top Five of fabulous holidays :-). Really excellent staff, very helpful, generous, attentive. May be more difficult to communicate in English rather than Spanish, but they would be very willing and accommodating. Did not get to use the spa, but appeared to be an excellent setup. Management & Staff could not be more helpful or friendly. Facilities were excellent and the Spa an amazing experience. Definitely will go back. Perfect for relaxation and a romantic break. Food was excellent. The naturalistic gardens and the peace and tranquillity of the spa and leisure facilities were amazing and to top things off Andres and his staff were very accommodating. It was like staying with friends/family. The staff were amazingly kind to my Mother and I and came to find us when we arrived as the directions to the hotel were pretty awful! The spa and the garden. everything. Nothing. Leaving!. A little difficult to find without google maps or sat nav. Nothing...... Like a previous review,I would take the T.V. out of the dining room. As this was such a special room you just want to enjoy the beautiful decorations and surroundings as you are eating.. Leaving!!!. Nothing. Quirky. Our room (which was gotten at a last minute discount rate, admittedly) did not have a restroom in the suite, but we had to cross some of the public areas of the hotel to get to our own private bathroom. We had one adjoining wall with reception, and could hear them from time to time, including once or twice during the night. The directions to find the hotel are not good and our taxi driver could not find the hotel at all leaving us a long walk with cases. However, the hotel came to find us in a car without being asked to and that was a wonderful touch. Perhaps no television in the Dining Room,it takes from the beauty of the room,. Swimming caps required in the pool. Nothing. They used very strong scent-bottles everywhere. I don't like strong smells. Otherwise ok. Food was average,it was the only part of the place that let it down. The emediate location. breakfast was OK for price , but not variety.
