I loved the roominess and airiness of the apartment/room I had. It was clean, well furnished and whatever didnt work well was replaced quickly. The room was a bit cold especially the tiled floors but the bed did have an electric blanket and another portable heater. More stuff (scourer/sponge)needs to be put in the kitchen to making washing up easier. The owner and his staff are very warm and friendly and were lovely to my small kids. The location was superb for me and very near Sandton city and.
所有评语 » This apartment hotel is highly recommended. Homely, friendly atmosphere, access to the garden and self-contained, comfortable units. I was a solo traveller, and had a two-bedroom unit which could sleep four persons. It is ideal for independence and self-catering as required. A taxi service is available all the time. The staff are very accommodating especially at reception. Location to Sandton shopping plaza, selection of breakfast foods (as ours was included) both cold and hot, staff were helpful and friendly especially ladies and gent in kitchen, felt safe and secure, cleanliness. You should have a frequent guest scheme that gives priority to guests that stay in your hotel regularly,like a loyalty card which may also come with discount when booking if you are a frequent guest. The staff were friendly. The facilities are great! Great value for money!!! It was very safe and secure. Very close to Sandton City Mall. Very nice location in Sandton. Good location; 15 min walking distance to Sandton (not a very pleasent, european style walk though, but safe for Joburg-which is important) Good choice for a transfer hotel. Spacious rooms and upgrade to 2 bedroom. I stayed for my second time and love the hotel for my small kids and convenience of location. Will def stay again. Bed very comfortable. Excelente atencion. i could not make breakfast, due to a very early appointment, so they arranged a breakfast tray the night before... Big rooms , full apartment facilities includes small kitchen, lounge and dining area, secure, good location. Layout and spaciousness of the apartment. The patio is great on sunny winter mornings. Many DSTV channels. They hotel is very good for the value. And the people are nice. I will definitely use Glenalmond again. The serene environment is very good.The staff are responsive to issues and very courteous. The proximity to Sandton Business Centre while retaining the ambience of family house. neatness and proximity to sandton city and the M1.friedliness and helpful staff. The room layout was excellent. The location and facilities were fantastic. Excellent reception and it was very clean. It was close to Sandton Mall. Nice place with space smal kitchen and close to Nelson Mandela square. Nothing!. just felt our room was slightly on small side bit cramped for two adults, as there was four adults. l think the wash hand basins in the bath rooms are old,a replacement would not be bad. I did not like leaving my key with the office every time I left. Cellphone reception was a bit flaky... The sofas were a bit old. Beds were very clean though. Can't think of anything. Perhaps the garden could be a little better tended. We had to ask for the coffee and milk to be refilled. The lounge seating is not very comfortable and not enough. only a two seater and a single chair in a unit that sleeps 4... There was no complimentary packet of facial tissues. No internet facilities in the room. Some of the entrance doors to the rooms should be changed,it makes a lot of noise when opening or closing especially Apartment 25 where l stayed. no sign indicating the reception office as you drive in. The staff was a bit lost at the time of check in. letsbookhotel.com had not passed the details to the hotel which led to a longer time taken to check in after a long journey to get there from Kruger :-(. The TV's reception in room 27 was very poor. Nothing Met our expectations. - knocking twice before someone opened the gate. nothing. The reception can be re-modelled, as it is very outdated. The fridge in my room was old,with little compartment for freezer which does not have a lid,l bought ice cream which melted because the freezer does not have a lid,besides.the fridge is old. bedding wasnt clean and not changed.That was very bad. nothing. The television is not located in the bedroom. I like watching TV in the comfort of hotel bedroom. When we arrived they did not know about our booking. That was very uncomfortable and not nice. They booked us in a one room apartment and we had to move the next day to a two bedroom apartment which was our original booking. We would like to know were the problem were. double rooms are pretty small for two people. Nothing. No keys to any of the inside doors?The door leading to the kitchen from outside had no key either.We slept with an open door in Johannesburg.Thank God I did not tell my wife who would have demanded we leave immediately.DSTV Was a bit of a let down with only certain stations and unable to switch to all sports channels of choice. Fumagation attempted while we were still occupying the room. Coffee shop/breafast not inviting, selection was poor, but for roughly same price great breakfasts are available at nearby cafes. - room was a bit outdated, and that gives the impression it is not clean. They are restoring many rooms, so maybe I just had an old room. - fridge made a lot of noise so I turned it off. Hotel staff attempted to charge more then was set on the booking day. Better have your booking voucher with you when paying!. Some basic amenities were not working like stove and heater etc. Bedside lamps not connected and no spare sockets. The Breakfast. Water was cold in room 10.
