The location was fantastic for visiting Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route. Our rooms were lovely. We really liked the garden setting, it was quiet and peaceful. The food and wine at the restaurant were excellent. All of the staff were friendly, happy and helpful. Everyone went that little bit extra to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, even to the point of washing our car before we left! The free wi-fi was a nice touch as well. We loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.
Rissington is situated in a tranquil countryside of Hazyview. Our rooms were upgraded to their superior rooms which very generous of the staff. Surprisely, the food at Rissington restaurant was very tasty especially the crocodile curry. In addition, we had to leave early for our onward journey and the staff kindly packaged our breakfast for the journey.

Shower is outside only. You can't shower in the bath tub as you make everything wet.

The whole place was so relaxing. It was in a beautiful setting, room and facilities were great and the staff were really helpful and welcoming. I loved the information file in the room, it was informative but also very entertaining. I read it from cover to cover.
Not keen on the frogs. I know they do not do any harm, but it was a bit of a shock when one decided to jump on my pillow in the middle of the night.
Setting was great. The staff were fantastic , they made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant food was excellent!!!!
Some of the furnishings in the room are looking a bit worn out , like the bedside rugs. The light from the bedside lamps was a bit dim.

On the letsbookhotel.com website Rissington Inn is described as having stylish rooms and elegant wooden furniture in each room. However, this is not true. The rooms are not modern or stylish and they have simple furniture in the rooms.
