Check in was good and prompt. A turkish guy from istanbul was very professional and he took only a few minutes in the process. Per our request, he gave us room on 2nd floor which was convenient for us to go to Haram easily. Room maintanence was excellent. A guy from India (Bombay), name was perhaps Tufail. He was very quick, professional and honest. My wife vorgot her gold necklace but he came nd returned back to her. Guest Relation Manager, Abdur Rehman Al-Mehmadi was also courteous and friend.
所有评语 » I like the whole luxurious hotel, clean rooms and excellent buffet in Ramadan, my felicitations to all the staff members beginning from the receptionists, chefs, room services, ... all the staff. It was very close to Haram, even in Ramadan you can pray inside the mall with continuous raw from the Kaaba. If you have elderly people, this will be an advantage. Multiple restaurants in the same mall with different prices convenient for all people. The hotel is marvelous and thanks to its location and the in-room live supplication transmission, you feel as if you are staying inside Haram. Even though the in-house dining is amazing, other food and shopping places are handy. For the hotel being so amazing, it’s a bit over crowded during the peak seasons, albeit can’t blame them for being as such. Would highly recommend to stay. I stayed in Swisshotel for 5 nights during my Umrah. The hotel is perfectly located, only 5-7 min walk from Al Haram. The staff was very friendly and processed my check-in very quickly. The room and the lobby were clean all the time and the breakfast was of high standard. I definitely recommend this hotel for its proximity with Al Haram and its comfort. Very close to Haram. Exits straight to the King Abdul Aziz gatge. Shops very close. Underground shops have cheaper stuff then on the ground floor. Very good . We enjoyed alot there. Humble request to all please dont get confused with hotels. All the holels in Albait complex are very very close to Haram specially for the people with the kids. Breakfast facilities were brilliant. Despite being on floor 31, the lifts were always quick to arrive and were quick ascending and descending. Staff were very friendly and approachable. The room and bathroom were decorated to a high standard. We also liked that there was a facility to hear the azan from haram played in our room. The rooms were beautiful and had all the facilities required, including a safe, hair dryer, electricity plug points at each bedside table, ironing board and nice toilettries. The view of Masjidil Haram was breathtaking. The breakfast spread was quite qood especially the pastries and a wide selection of cheeses and breads. I love the hotel environment... Comfort and cozy. Its a walking distance to Al Haram and easy accessibility to the mall. Nice hotel and will come soon.... Thanks to the gm in duty for upgrading my room from Al Haram view to Kaabah view because they unable to provide me with the connecting room. Anyway.. Syukran. The manager was very understanding.we explained our circumstances before booking the room and he was flexible. The porters especially shafik Ullah were very helpful - well done. Please pass on my thanks to shafik!. I would be delighted to stay at this hotel again and hope to book it for next year. Nice and Clean Hotel with very ideal location, near Musjid e Haram. Friendly staff at reception but room service was not very ideal, it was slow and was on demand even though the staff for room service was very cooperative too. Breakfast was good but too crowded, staff at breakfast was reasonable. Liked everything, especially the coffee machine! Had a great time. Th drain in the basin was blocked but the maintenance man came to fix it very quickly! The breakfast was also excellent. My wife enjoyed taking photos with the beautiful flowers in the lobby and enjoyed the rose in the bathroom. Very nice, clean, comfortable and lovely hotel. Nearby al haram. Accessable to everything you need. Nice breakfast buffet, huge dining area. Rooms are spacious(junior suite). Clean and lovely. Internet is available.and good. I would diffinetly come back again to this hotel. -Well organized hotel. -Professional service from the staff -The hotel is very close to Haram (3 minutes walk). -The room was clean, organized and had a clear view to the Haram. -Worth your money. -Great variety of food selection at the Breakfast. My trip was for leisure (religious sightseeing). Location is perfect, only 2min walk from hotel entrance to main attraction entrance. The food selection was excellent, one of the best selections of food in all my travel destinations. everything... Location is awesome very close to Haram. I have stayed for the second time at Swissotel . The only hotel i have stayed at in Makkah that is developing from year to year.exellent room service. Exellent house keeping and exellent futoor bufet. the over all hotel atmosphere was really a five star hotel atmosphere in all respects,more over its location was easily approachable for HARAM as well as for the city transports. My family really enjoyed this stay. 1. New Hotel. 2. The reception employees were polite and helpful. 3. The breakfast has different variety for deferent taste. 4. The hotel design was fantastic. 5. The prayer call ( Athan was heard well in my room). I liked everything about this hotel, I've been Makkah many times and this by far is the best hotel I've stayed due to the location, hygiene, staff was very helpful especially the manager Maqsood was very helpful. All as located near to Haram and easy to be in and out for Haram, Staff was good and understandable, Lobby needs to be more managed as people are using it most of the time but area for sitting was less. - Fast respond from the hotel staff. - Early check-in even though it was around 12 O'clock. - Location. - Direct access to the mall. - Welcoming the guest with refreshment at the reception was nice. Excellent room service, very helpful staff at reception desk. Two really great workers, Amjad and Tufail made the experience much better! Great rooms, professional staff. Breakfast itself was good. Very close to Haram , nice clean room with good facilities especially if it is in a higher floor with kaaba view, luxurious, nice staff, helpful especially Mr Fawaz who did the most to help me. I liked everything it, was clean and near the Haram, I was a bit concerned with how everyone is saying that the breakfast was at the Fairmont but it wasn't it, the breakfast was excellent. Efficient checkin. Professional and helpful staff - this is a priceless commodity in Saudi. We stayed during Ramadan and made full use of the restaurant for suhoor. It has ample seating. Check-in took only 10 minutes, staff is friendly, neat, clean, convenient to access Al Haram, it is the best within the same category among the hotels I checked-in at the same area. location, very close to Haram, speedy check in, excellent service, very good breakfast with variety of foods, wifi available inside the room, direct access to Haram thro the mall. everything, it's amazing, the breakfast, in room dining, services, room equipment, location and the view . and the most important thing ever, quick check-in and quick check-out . Got a great deal on this hotel and it was well worth it. Beautiful room, friendly staff and amazing breakfast. This hotel is run very well and is very close to Masjid AlHaram. Service is fantastic!really enjoyed our stay. Everybody gave us friendly service without making a fuss. The follw up after our requests were handled were a real nice touch!. The egyptian duty manager was awesome. He was helpfull . Regardless the session and there were so many people in the hotel. However, the provided services was very good. The overall service rendered by Swissotel was excellent and in shaa allah we would definitely be coming to Swissotel Makkah when we are coming to do our Umrah again. the hotel is excellent it's contemporary loved everything and the staff were professional he checked us in in no time with a big smile ... Defiantly will come back. The manager was amazing very help full the rooms were very good service was amazing. the staff realy cared for us as we were there gusets over all 10 out of 10 tnx. This was the best hotel I've stayed in, in the past 10 years in Makkah, around the Haram. -Decent for Umra / hajj as location wise is close to Haram and shopping mall . -date and coffee service -Good and friendly employees in the front desk. The Kaaba View The breakfast buffet was good but can be better in terms of selection. The receptionist Nizar was great. Overall hotel decorations. Location was brilliant and facilities were great bearing in mind my Father who is of old age was with us. The staff were very helpful aswel. The location especially the choice of rooms overlooking Haram or Kaabah. Very nice choices of open buffet and many seats for the customers. It was great. The Haram looking room is not that much worth it though. You partially see it and from a difficult angle. Breakfast rocks !. Location was excellent. Can go to Haram through clock tower. My Junior Suite was spacious with a dining area open to Haram view. The best thing i wud say is the communication i.e English command. The staff had good spoken English which made life easier for us. Friendly and efficient staff. Super clean. Outstanding location overlooking Al-Ka'aba. Easy access to Masjid Al-Haram. Free wifi. - I liked the luxury in the Hotel. - Room were beautiful and well managed. - Room was well equipped. - It was quiet and relaxing. Although it is expensive but it deserves the money paid. It sits infront of the holiest spot in Islam, We enjoyed our stay there. A que to get breakfast. Some Arabs were very rough with the breakfast controling person. These people did not want to be in que. The breakfast controlling employees want them to be in que. **Large families were beside our room, very noisy and playing in the corridor!! **Although clean bathroom, it was too small with no bathtub. **On arrival, the check in time was 6pm and they told us that the check out will be 12pm >>>> I found 6 hours for room evacuation is veryyyyyyy long!!!. Absolutely nothing. Get in early if you don't want to queue up for 15 min at the restaurant waiting for breakfast. For south asians, It's not so close to the main south asian food areas, which is about a 20 min walk away... The pillows were feather pillows and too flat. The hotel should serve international breakfast. I noticed that everyday the hotel served the same dishes... Rice and chicken liver curry... From day 1 until day 7, I ate the same dish. Escalators, always full and sometimes have to take two to get where you need to go. Very expensive, I do not see any justification for that much room charges. Bath room was too small and the room was congested too. The carpet in our room had a few dirty patches but because we only stayed one day and most of the time in the Haraam, we did not complain about it. Parking is a bit of a problem if you drive your car. Better you park away from this area and use a taxi. -Nothing really. Though breakfast is very good , there are very few choices for Lunch and Dinner. Also bathrooms are a little too tight in space and has no facility for ablutions. 1. Room cleaning was too late, my room was forgotten and I went to the house keeper and asked him to clean it. 2. The coffee and tea serving at the breakfast time. 3. The house keeper cleaned the glasses in the bathroom instead of changing them. 4. Because it’s the winter time, I prefer to have warm or hot breakfast : all the food was cold. 5. The outside noise was heard clearly from my room. None. Only thing, if there is food not allowed from outside, it should be applicable to all people not to specific on mood of security guard, So there should be clear and specific Rule for Food from outside the hotel There is no service lift available as house keeping guys were using same lifts as customers which make customers to wait a long for the lift.... - The elevator was the worst thing about the hotel. - Need to extend the number of elevators and make them to all floors. - The restaurant was too crowded were you have to que for 5 to 10 mins and it was small. - Toilet and shower facility are just not for a 5-stars hotel. - You can here the sounds from the other rooms which was annoying. The staff at the breakfast que should speak english or at least be bi-lingual for convenience of customers. Some people were just walking in without waiting in line like the rest of the visitors. There's 6 elevators, but two of them don't even go to the ground floor, causing much inconvenience as it created a long waiting time. Really I didn't feel that something bother me except that I couldn't get food from outside as it is not permitted to enter with food from outside and thats fair as long as it is the hotel's policy. the bathroom was a bit small. Extortionate price (sar 600) for a car to Jeddah Airport. escalators not fully functioning some still under t&c, thus longger waiting time during peak period. Toilet floor not properly level, water always ponding. The only complaint I would have is that the atmosphere is not so 'homey' since its a huge hotel, also very busy since its fantastic!. Did not like that you have to request basic things like body lotion which you expect from any five star rated hotel. The carpet in the room is dirty and needs to be cleaned. Vacuming does not remove the stains. Coffee needs milk. Nespresso very strong. There was so many elavetors but it was not working all which lesd to have a problem of waiting it because of the huge number of guests. If they use all of them there would not be an issue. We were not quite happy with the house keeping timing as it always clashed with our resting after coming back from our prayers. the restaurant for the breakfast was too crowdey have to stand in line to be able to access. i cant beleve that i have not a word for dislikes recomend to all. 1) The breakfast should cater to taste of multiple cultures, since it's a buffet. Maybe putting in a few items from South Asian cuisine would help. Although there were way too many items on the table, no one really suited our taste. The hotel comprises the rear portion of clock tower, and hence it's not as close from Haram as you might think!.. The Safwah Royal Orchid is even closer, although that hotel is not a part of the Clock Tower. I think i did not like the check in time it was very late at 6 pm we had to do Omrah in the sun at 12 pm cause the rooom was not ready and i did not like the promise of Harm view and my room did not show any Harm or even a view there was a wall in front of my window which made me to pay more to get another room with Kaba view. Lifts not fully functioning some still under t&c, thus longer waiting time during peak hours such as prayers times and morning breakfast time. Not easy to find by car. -Pellows are so thin , and not comfortable -Lack of restaurants and varieties of foods -elevators stops sometimes you need to change elevator to reach the gf . -Check out and help service took long time to take the baggage . -taxi is not available at the parking or gates of hotels ...etc as you know it very well. Although it was a Kaaba view but the windows were very dirty that you could only enjoy the view when the sun is up. All rooms were connected rooms. The bathroom was smaller than expected. The overall size of the room is disappinting. Nothing at all. Nothing. Nothing really. Nothing. Chaotic lobby area. A lot of people cutting in line at reception. Lack of in-room information about available facilities. - Need to Improve room space. - Need more and better items for breakfast. - Consider reducing price. On check inn it took some time to get the room.
