The bathroom a the opposite of the reception could be rebuilt - Located in a nice area close to the embassy district and well serviced with trams. However, I would recommend the using the city cycle hire network for which there is a stand just across the road. You can buy a card from the tourist information to use these and it is a great way to get around Oslo. The pensjonat is very clean and decorated in a modern style with very friendly and helpful staff.
