  The hostel was clean and quiet. We were on the first floor and did not hear any noise all night. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly enough. It was also in a perfect location - not too close to the city center, but placed close enough to walk to the bars in 12 min. - Nice location easy access to everywhere.   The central location was excellent, close to most attractions, the train station and bus/tram stations. Room and other facilities throughout the boat are clean and tidy. Breakfast is plentiful though nothing fancy. Staff Christian is excellent, friendly and always helpful. Amsterdam is famous for its houseboats, and Intersail Hostel - It locate 10 minutes from Central station and Damrak, near Old City with Red Light District. Living on boat were very exiting! Also if you arrive early in the morning it is given you breakfast to go.

  I loved the food at the restaurant, very delicious. The 25% discount was a great bonus, as well as the discounts on drinks. Our room was really cool and the art everywhere was very interesting. The location was awesome and the staff was friendly & helpful. The best part, in my opinion, was the music. And even some pretty designs -- that's saying something for a hostel! Bar seemed good too though I didn't get to join that fun. Though my stay here was brief, this was one of the best hostels I've stayed at.
