  Charles, the owner, was extremely attentive and helpful. He made us most welcome and wanted to make our stay as comfortable and as memorable as possible. He gave us lots of suggestions for places to visit. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The peaceful location was excellent for getting to all the major attractions.   This is a great choice to stay in Amsterdam, I'd always take a place like that over a hotel. A very nice flat in a good location, quite central, yet rather quiet and calm.
