Perfectly situated. A square round the corner with plenty of bars and retaurants. Only a 15 minute walk to Dam Square or 5 minutes on the tram which stops 50 yards outside the apartment. Walking distance to the Anne Frank House, from where you can also board a canal tour boat. The owner of the apartment, Jorrit, was very helpful. Without being asked to, he emailed me all the information we needed to get from the airport to the apartment. He suggested places we could visit and has a big selectio.

The owner of apartment ,Jorrit, was very helpful and has a big smile when he welcoming us despite we arrive nearly midnight. The apartment well furnished and Nespresso machine helps wake me up in the morning :) Highly recommended and definetly I will stay here again next time in Amsterdam. Perfect location, great shopping area, very clean apartment. Beds were ready and the owner very friendly. Walking distance to Rijks and Van Gogh museums, Anne Frank house etc... Only thing to be mentioned which does not concern this apartment which I really recommend, pay attention when coming by car, parking in Amsterdam is extremely expensive... if you want to shopping, it is the best choice; no matter famous brand or commodities, you will find in the street. about 10 minutes walk to dam square from the hotel. Very clear and the owner is very nice. The apartment was very spacious and ideally located. the owner extremely helpful and offered us leaflets to assist with getting the best out of our holiday. Location is Amazing. In the middle of the city center. Everything is reachable by foot. Apartment is modern, comfortable and really clean. Jorrit was helpful, friendly and his communication wonderful. He was at the apartment when he stated. Very good location. The owner was very kind and friendly, but... very long, steep and narrow stairs, so donot recomment to the tourist taking little babys or old person. Access to the apartment is very difficult for mature people as the steps are extremely steep and narrow, the entrance did little to tempt us to stay as it wasn't very clean and there were over 40 steps to climb, however the apartment is very clean, spacious and modern so would recommend it to anyone who did not have difficulty with steps. Stairs were steep and lighting on stairs could have been better. But we did know the stairs were steep before we booked. - Apartment itself was very clean but the entrance hall / stairs were extremely dirty. A clear minus, especially with small kids. Rather grey room. Can be noisy. And the warm water could have been warmer. Like many of the city houses it has the a long steep flight of stairs. A price worth paying for the experience of staying in Apartment Leidseplein,. There was no kitchen and no place to wash the dishes. Two long flights of stairs are ok, but a bit more light on the way up. الدرج صعب جدا. In the bedroom there is a lot of noice from bars and the streets. There is also An outside smoking room, below the room, with people taking till 5 am. Firts of all was not that clear that credit cards were not accepted, and this is a warning that booking itself should give to his customers. The stairs going to second floor is a kind of climbing so not recommended to everybody. At my comment that there was no shampoo and shower gel I have been invited to go buying in the store on the other side of the street. The apartment is nice, but 150€, no breakfast, is way to expensive compare to waht Amsterdam offers.
