A lovely hotel located at the back of the town, up against the mountainside. We really enjoyed our time there. The staff were friendly and very helpful, getting us a guide who took us to see local traditional crafts (ahem), showing us good places to eat and drink (there are only 3 places in Chaouen that serve alcohol) and helping us to use the local hamam safely. We found one of the reception-foyer staff so helpful. Mustafa at front desk was incredibly helpful overall, especially re: my
luggage which didn't arrive on my flight into Casblanca before we
took train to Tangier. He helped suggest where to buy some clothes,
helped with phone calls to the airlines and shared other tips to help.
The location made our daily walks to the Medina and other highlights
easy, and the room was very comfortable at a great price.
