  Arguably one of the best hotels hotels I have ever stayed at with the absolute best customer service I have ever received. The staff was BEYOND helpful and willing to help us with whatever we needed. They even had a driver for hire, Khalid, who was truly an amazing person. Our clothes were folded and they even was - I have been to many places in different countries. Mnar Castle is one of the very good choices.   The hotel is in a quiet but I believe basically safe though somewhat dilapidated neighborhood. That said, the hotel itself is as charming a place as you can imagine.   We stayed here for 2 nights on the advice of our guidebook which said that this riad is absolutely perfect and I would have to agree! It’s a beautifully decorated riad, with friendly and helpful staff who speak English. They have a fireplace which was nice in February in the mountains and the room had a good heater. Possibly the nicest roof of any riad - The staff was incredibly helpful....we were coming to Chefchaouen by private car and were unable to find our way to the entrance ....one of the guys came down to the town....bopped in our car and led us to the parking area and helped us take our bags to the Dar. The breakfast is hearty and fresh...much more than a typical carb overload...and the ambiance is lovely; fireplace going in the chilly morning...great terrasse to relax and take the sun in the afternoon .   I searched for a while for a suitable hotel, normally my husband and I book into a 5 star resort or luxury self catering when we have the children (2,6) with us.
