  The hotel is in a quiet but I believe basically safe though somewhat dilapidated neighborhood. That said, the hotel itself is as charming a place as you can imagine.   I searched for a while for a suitable hotel, normally my husband and I book into a 5 star resort or luxury self catering when we have the children (2,6) with us. No problem and upgraded us immediately to a suite and moved all of our baggage. Fine food at a good price, the best food we had in Asillah.
