Whole experience of staying in a Riad its character and charm.Staff were excellent nothing was too much of a problem and everything was done with a smile.Value for money was excellent breakfast was simple but very fresh and plenty of it.Evening meals were outstanding value and just needed to be ordered in the morning for their 3 course meal which had plenty of choice.Restaurant recommendations were very good and ideas for trips,Taxi was at airport to meet us which was charged direct to hotel so.
所有评语 » We liked everything. The Riad is in an excellent location in the centre of the old Medina but in a very quite street. The place is very relaxing and the internal patio is very beautiful. At the beginning it is not easy to find as it is in a small, hidden street. So it is better to ask for some guidance just for the first time. We stayed in Meknes room which was fantastic, in original Maroccan style. The staff is very kind, helpful and always available. We would definitely recommend this Riad as. We rented the Royal Suite, and wow, it was huge. A huge sitting room with fireplace and table with what must have been 12 foot ceilings, all tiled and with a skylight. The bathroom tub was so deep that you could just see my head peering over the top. Our kids (7 and 4) had a fantastic time climbing around on the chairs, and playing in the room. It was a great place for them to unwind a bit after dealing with the harried streets of Marrakech. Breakfast was lovely, fresh OJ, baguettes and croiss. We really did like everything here. It's tucked away down a little street so I suggest taking up the offer of a locals assistance! They will walk you to the front door for a few dirhams. Once inside it is an oasis where you can here a pin drop.The Royal Suite is amazing and worth the extra cash with loads of space amazing ceiling and bathroom and little private terrace. The rest of the Riad is also just as great with relaxed, tastefully decorated areas. I would really really recommend a stay he. We had a really wonderful stay at the Riad Dar Ourika. The staff were very friendly & helpful and the location despite being central was really peaceful. The Terrace was a great place to watch the sun set & the birds swooping. All the rooms were individual and full of character with plenty of space.It has managed to retain its historic character and is homely & comfortable. Breakfast is great - freshly prepared and varies each day. Would highly recommend and we hope to go again. The riad is in the middle of the medina and 10 minutes from the square. It is very nicely done up and the staff is very very friendly, helpful and funny. you can have breakfast when ever you want and sometimes they have a really good selfmade yoghurt. we loved their cat snooker :) we planned to stay only 4 nights, but we liked it so much that we booked another 2 nights. in the months of the winter it can be very cold in marrakesh, so it is good to have heating. The riad is great, charming, and a very good deal. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and you can also reserve some excursions to visit the villages nearby. The atmosphere is really relaxing, and, although it is in the middle of the Medina, the riad is very silent. I tried the hammam and the massage, and it is also very nice. The staff were warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make sure that we had a wonderful visit. They helped us organize a car, tips on safety and catered to our every need. The location is excellent and we felt like this was our second home. We stayed here three times in our three week holiday. We liked the kind approach of the staff, very caring and attentive to our needs. The room was spacious and clean, with a very large shower. The breakfast was very good, as well as the dinner we commanded in the morning for the evening. I really want to suggest and recommend this riad to other people. A very very nice hotel i an old building in the heart of Marrakesch. The hotel i nicely renovated with at lot of charming details. It is clean and comfortable. The staff is very pleasant and polite. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would recommend to everybody. Excellent quality of staff. The Riad is litterally a piece of art in the middle of the Medina. We also had (as an extra) a wonderful hammam. For those, like me, who never experienced that before, don't miss it! Really recommended. Don't be put off by the approach to the Riad, once inside it is a haven! The staff very friendly and very helpful, the massage and hamman was excellent. The terrace and plunge pool were very welcoming in 40 plus degrees. Location was good although ratther difficult to find for the first time. Very nice terasse with sundbeds to relax and enjoy a good view over Marrakech and if view is clear also to the Atlas mountains. Nice breakfast. The staff were incredible, from waiting to take us into the centre of the riad on our first morning so that we didn't get lost, to negotiating rates on excursions, we couldn't have been better looked after. Excellent staff!!! In the heart of Medina. Stylish Morrocian Riad. Book a taxi through the Riad for your first arrival otherwise its difficult to find the way. Trust the staff for everything you need. The location of the Riad is excellent. Although in the Medina, it's fairly easy to find, once you reach the Bacha Palace (a taxi can drop you off there). The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable beds. Decorations and the Morocan art work is very nice in all the rooms. The staff were very kind, polite and helpful. I do not want this to be a negative critiscism but sometimes you had to ask a couple of times if you wanted something done it would be better if they wrote any requests down especially when busy. Nothing. No WiFi in our room, at all, which was disappointing, as the room description promised this. We ended up having to go downstairs in the sitting area to use the WiFi, and had to leave every time another guest lit up a cigarette (which was quite often), because of the kids (well, also because we're non-smokers and really dislike the smell and health dangers of second hand smoke). Only staying for 1 evening. Nothing. If you expect to swim in the months of winter you shoudn't mind cold water. I don't have any specific complaints about it. I just want to warn the visitors that, to get to the riad, you have to cross some alleys that are not properly lighted at night. Although the place is safe, you must be prepared to do so (to get to the riad, you have to get into Derb Wihah, and then right-left four times, i.e., take always the first turn on the right, and then the first on the left for four times). Finally, the wifi is only in the patio, but this was not a big issue to me. We enjoyed everything about this Riad. Unique negative point is the proximity with a Mosque, because we have waked up at 4.00 by the muezzin's prayer. A little bit difficult to find first time. Nothing. Bed was much too hard!. The 5am wake-up call each morning as the chanting from the synagogues could be heard all over the city!. The bathroom needs some improvements. It's impossible to have a shower without splashing water all around. The drain was somehow blocked and I had to "fix it" to avoid flooding. The doors could be better, you never feel that the door is really locked. Coming from the airport you need the taxi to find this place. Bed was a bit too hard. Difficult to find. If you take a taxi to the hotel you will need to walk 10 mins. Get the hotel to collect you or you will <will> get lost!. Hard to find at first. Nothing. it was in the medina and it was impossible to find without the help of locals.
