Our stay at Riad Amra was perfect. The staff and the owner, Jean Jacques of the Riad are extremely helpful and friendly. Marrakesh itself is a busy place with narrow, winding streets full of people (and mopeds). Whilst this is part of the charm of Marrakesh it is important to have a quiet, calm space to relax in. This was my second time staying at Riad Amra, and I enjoyed it even more this time. It is a lovely riad, an oasis in the Medina We will definitely be back!.
所有评语 » The small pool was a godsend in the hot afternoons and the amazing calm that I do not think we could have found anywhere else. As many reviewers mentioned before, it is an oasis in the middle of Marrakesh. The location was amazing in the sense that it is in a less touristic spot , therefore the shopkeepers do not harass you nearly as much and you feel more relaxed walking along those streets. We recently stayed at the Riad Amra and would highly recommend it. The staff couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and cater to our needs. Location, rooms, facilities and food are all superb. Overall a wonderful trip to Marrakech which was largely down to the Riad Amra and its staff. Thank you!. We actually stayed at Riad Balkisse which is owned by the same family as Riad Amra, so this review is about Riad Balkisse! The staff is really nice and gives good advices, the rooms are really cute and fresh compared to the really hot city. The breakfast is really good and changes everyday a bit. This hotel is ideally situated to experience Marrakech. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is nice. The room although small was expertly decorated and was more than adequate for relaxing after getting out of the bustling square. Amazing accommodations and wonderful staff. I have never had such great service anywhere like this. The staff is well informed and very helpful with just about anything. I think my major peeve was the fact that, when it came to the bathrooms, there was no privacy because there are no doors separating it from the room. I would have preferred to know before arriving that we would go to Riad Balkisse instead of Riad Amra, but hey, this is Morocco style!. there was nothing We disliked. everything was very nice except one important thing ,the toilet was not separated from the rest of the room with a door but with a curtain. Bad mood of the night guy and the room could have been cleaner. The riad isn´t as big as showned in the pics. The first time is difficult to find but then is easy. The staff at the Riad acted like ghosts. No service to talk about... Restricted posibilites to enjoy the sun at the terass. You can't close the door from the inside. The rooms need mor ventilation. No internet in the rooms only downstairs; the PC available on the ground seemed to be only for the staff to play with (does not make sense to me). The tourist tax has been calculated in an unfavorable. *The hotel is hard to find as its in the back streets *The bathroom have no doors and defnately no privacy *Everything can be heard by neighbours *Wifi only works in reception *Your always on edge as theres no privacy.
