  We stayed at the Riad Carina for 6 days in Feb. It was my first visit to Marrakech & I enjoyed it very much. The Riad is situated approx 1/2 mile from the main square. But this is easily accessible along a narrow street surrounded by all the shops. We had booked a taxi through the hotel & were taken almost to the door.   We read excellent feedback and chose this riad and we were not disappointed! We are a family of 4 including 2 grown-up children. We booked a family room for 4 and it was ENORMOUS! (Two single beds were separated by curtains.) The main bed was a wrought iron four-poster bed with nice laces around. There was no TV in - It was one of our best trips ever thanks to this Riad and Its staff. The place and the rooms are beautiful.the welcome is very warm and The staff is extremely Nice and caring. The location is ideal, a few minutes away from jemaa El fna from Bahia palace and from tombeaux saadiens. I Would definitely recommend this Riad. Nothing feels Like waking up in one of Its rooms to the sound of little birds and having breakfast on top of Its breathtaking terrasse. Enjoy

  The staff at the riad was extremely friendly and hospitable. We arrived around 2am, but Sa'id graciously welcomed us and carried our bags to our room. Our room was clean, spacious, well-decorated, and afforded us the privacy we were looking for. It also had air-conditioning, a definite requirement for any trip to Marrakech in August!   This riad is a little gem. It has only been open for 2.5 years and everything inside is brand new and of amazing taste. Laurence is a wonderful hostess. She does it with the heart and as a guest, you will feel incredibly looked after. She works so hard in the riad, taking care of every little detail. I would strongly recommend ordering dinner at the hotel - you have to order in the morning and it isn't cheap but it is delicious. very romantic too as more often than not you'll be the only couple in the dining area.   I liked being close to the Badia and the Bahia Palaces and the Tiskiwin Museum. You can easily walk to the Jemma el fna, the huge plaza. Katrina, the owner, went out of her way to help us book a room in another town. - Clean, cheap, and very well kept. The staff was great too.
