I loved that I could use all 5 of the Royal Resorts, 2 situated right next door. I loved that the Resort organised Scuba Diving with transport etc... I loved my room with microwave, fridge etc.. I love the convenience store downstairs. i loved the way the maid cleaned my room so perfectly well. I loved the wild waves at the beach which was empty as all guests use the pool rather. I loved my room situated on 9th floor in the quietest part of the hotel, the list is endless.
所有评语 » The hotel is very conveniently located right on the beach. It was a few steps walking distance from our room. The place was impeccably maintained. Though a buffet breakfast should have been included. the location is great - close to the beach; apartment was big and nice decorated; our kids loved the pool; a small market in the hotel area is a good idea; beach towels too. The resort claims all their rooms are Suites. But the junior suite is not even a hotel room, its an extension of another bigger room. Very good location, nice restaurant with good and quality food. Rooms clean, spacious and with good view. Nice staff at the pool bar close to downtown (USS ~15 by taxi). Staff were generally helpful and the beach/pool is fantastic. hotel installations, free services, big spaces, pools, rooms. Such a good hotel near airport. Restaurant and beach. almost everything. Closeness of the airport. Facilities in the room: coffee maker, microwave, utilities, fridge. Restaurant staff and service were amazing. Food was also very impressive. Great pool area. Very nice but dated resort, well suited for families who like the beach. The room is very good.. we love the pool and the beach too. Clean pools, ocean-front, conveniently located. Nice resort, safe, comfortable, on the beach. the concierge service was very professional. The beach and swimming pool. At the beach / seaside. Good beach. The location and the beach! Wonderful!. Location of property. The only thing I liked was that it was on the beach. There was no decent wifi in my room or elsewhere. The Concierge service was not that helpful. Food in the restaurant in the pool area, but we found a nice restaurant across the street. We reserve one night, two days and we have a different room every day and was very uncomfortable to change room from pne day to the other. not many young people restaurants close early and they do not provide room service. The beef at the main restaurant was not worth anywhere near what they were asking for. Downtown is quite a distance. pool towel service. Car rental, didn't have access to balcony. had to change room in the middle of the week food in the restaurant was very poor. They would not honor letsbookhotel.com's policy of the room cost including the price of meals. We also were promised a resort view and our room was on the backside, away from the ocean and pools and we were left staring at the parking lot. We were there for one night for our honeymoon and the hotel refused to work with us even though we had a printed conformation sheet stating what was included. We were greatly disappointed. Had problems with my debit/credit card. The lady at the reception did not accept it. The balcony was way too tiny for a junior suite. Lobby was also very small. Tv was not a flat one as described when booking the room. Personnel was not very friendly. Could not help myself comparing the hotel to former Hilton where I stayed last time. Those two hotels are a light year from each other. Would not stay again in The Royal Mayan. Waiting over an hour to check in when everyone was jet lagged. Paying for an ocean view room and not getting one. What's the point of paying extra if their not guaranteed?!. Very noisy airconditioning, location far away from shops restaurants, constant tipping to all and sundry, move on Saturday to another room, pressure regarding time share sales. The stafe is not friendly and not helpfull. The location is no good too. No room service so there is no way of getting even clean water after 11pm. You can't pay with cash. We were moved to another room in the middle of our stay. The rooms are attached by a closet door with slits in it, so, very little privacy. Staff not so friendly, no coffee, no shampoo, no conditioner, not close to many restaurants, not close to shopping. the hotel was pretty old, housekeeper stopped cleaning last days of our stray. The staff were totally unhelpful, provided an invoice only 2 days after the payment when the were asked about it. The hotel has. Wierd policy that everyone changes a room on Saturday, this was unpleasant. The staff calling all the time to sell package tour, which were more expensive than other places in town. Didnt like that they didnt tell us about some $900 deposite until we got there and was checking in also the bathrooms in the suits needs renovating apart from that its a nice hotel. We paid for the Ocean view room but upon our arival the room was not available and we were downgraded to room with NO view - take it or leave it. Also the room next door was being painted so we had to endure the noise and the smell of the paint. The food was vwry ordinary. It’s a fake! Don’t go! the facilities are completely fake: internet so slow that you barely manage to download an email, the telephone between room and room doesn’t work even after asking to the staff to repair it, the television is an old cathode tube!! Really piece for a museum!!. The rooms and bathrooms very very run down. Where to start, this hotel was nothing like letsbookhotel.com advertised. The room was hideous, tiny, I've been to better motel 6'S. 2 sliding doors but one was kept locked because the patio was only for the room next door. Check-in took 45 minutes cause they couldn't find my reservation, Staff was rude. Towels were on the floor due to leaks, room smelt musty. Bottom line is this place was horrible.
