Bathroom - I am travelling with my 3 teenagers and was hoping for them to have a unique experience when I choose to stay on Miyajima. It was perfect. The hotel was a short walk from the ferry and no trouble to find. The room was a quad share and we were greeted with a tour of our room followed by green tea and cake. The teenagers were in awe.   Nice location in the only village of the island. Very busy during the day with full ferry every 20 mns but it was during the ''golden week'' ! In the evening, very quiet even a little bit too much and only 2 restaurants were open ! Nice talk with owner who studied in US and speak perfect english. - The authenticity of the accommodation. When you stay in a Ryokan, it still has the hotel feel about this. This gave us a glimpse of how real Japanese family live their daily life. The owner was very helpful and very informative. We had fun chatting with her about obi, temples and food. Definitely recommend staying there. She even recommended places where we can experience authentic Japanese sake bar in Miyajima.

  Great ryokan experience. The rooms are impollute, very friendly staff (particularly a woman who is in charge of arranging the rooms and the dinner). Views from the room to the Torii and the bay were outstanding. The dinner was delicious with lots of different Japanese dishes.
