  Just back from ski holiday to La Thuile and 4 night stay at this hotel. The hotel, on entrance to village, was lovely, Warm, clean, comfortable, friendly owners and relaxing (and at a very good price).   The Pilier D'Angle is a very well run family hotel where you are made to feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel provides transport to and from the Val Veny Cablecar and this makes travelling to and from the slopes easy and straightforward. The skiing in Courmayeur is good though might get a bit dull if staying a week so we skiied in both Pila and - We had a nice room in the chalet with a lovely mountain view from the balcony. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the wines [local] were excellent. Entreves is a very attractive village and it's very pleasant to walk around the older part, very near the hotel. We will be returning here as it's so well placed for the Mont Blanc tunnel and the journey back to the UK.

  Tavernier Hotel is easily the most comfortable and friendly hotel I've stayed in Courmayeur. The staff were extremely helpful with logistics and with restaurant bookings in the town. The location is perfect for the Dolonne gondola to the slopes and is a short walk into the town.
