  A wonderful place to stay Great location, right on the water. A modern hotel built into an historic building. The room was adequate in size and amenities. Parking is close, but it is in the blue spaces so you need to be collecting coins to feed the meter. It is away from the cr - My family and I loved every minute of our stay at the beautifully renovated La Gancia! We stayed with a 4 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy!   This was a brilliant location in the heart of Trapani in the old side of the city. Upon our arrival we was given plenty of information on everything we could have needed. The staff where very helpful and on hand for any questions, advice or problems we had throughout our stay. The city was very beautiful and the local people where very friendly - We were offered a very friendly welcome by Ninni who explained everything about the apartment and things to do in and around Trapani. The place was a perfect base for sigthseeing the Old Town, taking boat trips, cycling tours etc. The apartment had everything you need to rest and prepare some special meals. The sights like Erice, Mozi Island, Segesta, Salini and Marsala - unforgettable!

  Our hotel location was the perfect middle of Trapani, and only blocks off the Mediterranean. We walked every day to shops, cafes, delis, restaurants, even historic Old Town.
