The staff (Georgia and team) were very gracious, welcoming and professional. Their suggestions and assistance on everything from selecting tours to handling dirty laundry made our time in Siena fantastic! Our room was immaculate and spacious. Maid service was friendly and convenient and the breakfast was fantastic--we were so comfortable, it almost started to feel like home!. Georgia, the Inn Keeper was delightful. She made us feel welcome and provided excellent recommendations for dining in the area as well as help with travel arrangements and sight seeing. We had to leave the hotel very early in the morning - 5:30am to catch the train to Rome on our last day and she arranged for our taxi and provided us with a box breakfast to take with us.
所有评语 » The Villa Elda is charming. The location just outside the walls of the city makes it within easy walking distance yet remains quiet. The views of the city are second to none. What really sets Villa Elda apart is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful in every respect. I look forward to visiting again soon. Georgia and the gentleman who was working the weekend we were there were awesome, not to mention, the rest of the staff is friendly. The location is excellent! Our room is cleaned everyday. Can't wait to stay there again the next time we visit Siena.The Willa Elda was in a good location and within walking distance to the main attractions that we wanted to do. The hotel was very, very nice - the room, the helpful staff, the breakfast, the garden, and the top floor patio were all great. Everything! The staff was wonderful, the owner more than I ever expected. It was the most relaxing hotel stay I have ever had. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast was extremely good, everything was exceptional.We had a beautiful view of Siena from our third floor room. The hotel is very nice, and the staff was extremely helpful. They even had their teenage son carry our luggage to our room. The friendly welcome was great and the room upgrade at no extra cost was a lovely gesture. We were made to feel like part of the family. The views across the city are spectacular.Stephanie, and Georgia were great!!! They answered all questions about the area, recommended some great restaurants and made the reservations. Gorgeous place, extremely well located, parking available and an exceptionally nice and helpful staff. Situated in a quiet and attractive residential area only five minutes walk from the center of the city. Breakfast was very good, comfortable bed with very nice linen. A pretty room, bathroom very small, excellent cleanliness. We especially enjoyed an evening walk in the park inside the nearby fortrezza. There was no elevator, but the concierge brought the bags up to the room.Five minutes walk from city center, but still a good location. It does not have an elevator and the shower is one of the very small ones. These must be the reasons for the three star rating, because in every other way it deserved at least one more. Hotel should be encouraged to provide specific instructions what parking area (Fortezza) to use.The directions to the Villa were just a little confusing and we ended up having to trek up and down a hill for no reason. a bit expensive. Table top space in the bedroom was a bit too small and there was only one chair. The air conditioning in the room could be improved. A cramped shower cubicle, no bath, in one of the higher priced rooms (Junior Suite). Breakfast was OK, but not nearly as good as comparable properties.Parking in the area can be a problem.
