The location is excellent in terms of being close to all the historical centre of Rome. It is 1/2 block off of the Campo, so you get a little noise on weekends, but the windows of LR and one bedroom overlook the little street below and it is fun to watch and hear local activity of the day. The apt is charming, with lot of historical furniture pieces, big round wood table, wood beamed ceilings in bedrooms, chandeliers, and historic painted panel ceiling in living room(really neat). 所有评语 » The location was excellent, we could more or less walk to all sites in rome, just make sure you have a good map as some of the routes are quite difficult to follow. The appartment itself was clean and had all necessary facilities, so we were very pleased! Also a quick tip, if you plan to visit the Vatican and Coloseum it is well worth gettig up early to get there for the opening times as the ques for later on can be very long. Great apartment in a perfect location to explore Rome. Close to cafes, markets and major attractions with shop just around the corner. The apartment is surprisingly large and very well appointed in a quite street. Best apartment we have ever stayed in. Thoroughly recommended. Excellent location of apartment. Clean and well organized. The apartment managers were flexible with our late arrival and late departure allowing us to leave our luggage in the apartment during our last day in Rome at no extra charge (thank you!). Situated in a Piazza that by day has a lively market which disappears by mid-afternoon, and the square attracts people so sitting in one of the many cafés & restaurants all around to watch the world go by became a favourite sport. The size of the apartment was very generous. Two bedrooms allowed for lots of space for 4 people. The kitchen was big for an 'efficiency'. We were very happy with the location, too. Cental historic. We walked everywhere, Trevi Fountain, Vaticano, Piazza Novona, Pantheon Supermarket about 50metres away. Appartment was clean with basic but functional facilities. Very centrally and conveniently located nice appartment with three rooms (2 bedrooms). Air conditioning and kitchen work fine. No street noise. Beautiful view to the square. The location was very central with all attractions in Rome within easy walking distance. The room was quiet with a well equipped kitchen. We were in appartament Grotte. Good location (we were going everywhere by foot - Vatican, Pantheon, Colosseo etc.), very good wifi. It was large enough to accommodate our family of four including my 2 sons of 16 and 18. Quite comfortable beds and spacious, clean kitchen. Location was fabulous. Close to Vatican, campo di fiori, novona etc. old building without elevator though. Friendly staff to introduce the place on arrival, need to pay late check in fee. Was close to the Campo di fiori which has a real buzz and is very attractive. Apt feels a little worn. Blue loveseat needs replacement, and a few accent pillows cleaned, but flowers from Camp bring this apt to life!. When booking the appartment the site made it look like they were part of the hotel and that the photos on the site would be where we were staying. This is not the case, they have a number of appartments across Rome and you would be placed in one or these. That said the appartment was clean and suited our needs very well. Nothing at all. The Piazza is a little loud at night as there are lot's of bars and nightclubs in the neighborhood. The kitchen was nice, but did not have any condiments available E.G. salt, pepper, sugar, oil, which would have made cooking easier. We were in the 1-bed apartment - it had no windows except one in the kitchen overlooking a shaft so if you leant across the work top, you could just see a tiny piece of sky. It felt very claustrophobic. Small bathroom but that was ok 5th floor but there was a lift from 1st floor. The dryer did not get very hot but we were still able to wash some laundry. downstairs fold out bed. The cross bar was uncomfortable on our back. Stairs to the loft was very steep (about 230mm) risers. Not suitable for very young or elderly. Some noise in the evening and morning from the restaurants and market in the square. No balcony / yard "to sit in the sun". There was no real window to speak of. A view over the Campo De Fiori square would have been nice. The Wi Fi would only work near the door. We have a little bit problem with wi-fi.just this. A bit noisy at night but this also provided atmosphere. Clothes washing machine needs up-dating. No concierge to store luggages when you want to stay the afternoon. 2nd bedroom got some noise from a machine in adjacent apartment 1 night. A safe would be a good addition. The owners need to pay attention to the little things - toilet seats not stable, dustbin lids broken, microwave with no plug point nearby, hairdryer with no plug point nearby. Couldn't get a hold of the owner. Nobody came when it was time to leave, and we didn't know what to do with the keys. They were late arriving at the designated time. The double bed upstairs was too small for my husband who is a tall Dutch Man . The mattress of the sofa bed was very very uncomfortable and we had to put pillows underneath as we could feel the metal frame on our back. The shower cubicle was also too small and the shower too low for my husband. The oven and stove were so basic you couldn't really cook a meal there for 4. The apartment has not taken into consideration that dutch/german/america/english people for example are tall. The air conditioning was woefully inadequate. A fan was needed to be comfortable and that broke down. After a temporary repair the agent left to "look for another fan" but never got back in touch. Need to update shower curtain. And kitchen tools needs to be properly clean. No daylight, dangerous stairs to mezzanine, heat rises to the sleeping area which makes it unpleasant while the main living area is cold. Sofa very uncomfortable, particularly as bed. Did not have basics in kitchen, eg drying cloths and washing up liquid.
