  We visited this hotel in july 2013, our choice was initially connected to live outdoors, but also nearby with the main sights and the Chianti valley. The hotel completely met our expectations, it is in several kilometers from the road, directly in the middle of the reserve. Our room was pure, spacious and cozy. The breakfast is rather various, and for a dinne - We were very pleased with the accommodation. The hotel was in an excellent state, in a breath-taking location, the staff were very helpful and polite. I particularly liked the way the hotel was designed and decorated, in a authentic Tuscan style. The cook was so skilled that we fell in love with the food and decided to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant rather than going out in the surrounding village. We want to return there on another occasion.

  This is a really lovely bed and breakfast. Marta is a wonderful hostess. Our flight was delayed, so we didn't pitch up at Marta Guest House until 2:30 am. Marta was gracious, welcoming and understanding in this horrible circumstance. I will not forget her coming out into the parking lot in her night clothes and welcoming us with whispers. Marta's villa is located an easy short 10 km drive from Lucca with onsite parking. The breakfast was the best we had in our 4 week tour around France & Italy. Beautiful. Even the towels & bedlinen were good quality cotton. We would certainly return to Marta's if ever again in Lucca. We can definitely recommend a stay at Marta Gue
