  This is an amazing place. Everything was perfect-tidy, clean and stylish hotel. Very nice englishspeaking receptionist-she gaves us many helpfull advices for the old Lucca town and ideas for good restaurants there. Friendly and efficient staff could not do enough to help us, excellent English and French is spoken. Nothing was too much trouble - thank you for an excellent stay in beautiful Lucca. Lovely relaxing area with hot tub etc. too.

  We spent one night on the way to Elba. Fantastic Tuscan views, peace and total relaxation on the go. Maybe a little hard to get to the destination. Florence centre is very complicated for driving and doesn't have free parking places for non-residents.   Excellent location--very close to Campo. We had the two room suite which was very roomy for an Italian hotel. The double bedded room was a corner room with great views out of both windows, one of Torre del Mangia. Nice breakfast brought on tray to our room as it was a bit cool for garden breakfast.
