  good location , friendly staff - The Hotel is very close to the tran station. The area looks dangerous at night, and is ugly during day. But if you plan to make day trips its great: in 2 minutes walk, you're at the platform to pompei or Sorrento.   The staff was very helpful and courteous! They were able to communicate with us even though we speak very little Italian! The food at their restuarant was wonderful and reasonably priced!   Ravello is a great location for a home base when exploring the Amalfi Coast. I like Ravello because, unlike many of the other cities on the Amalfi Coast, Ravello is not too touristy.
