I loved Borgo Eolie, and hope to get back for a longer stay. Lipari is lovely, and definitely the place to stay for a visit to Stromboli - I spent a night on each island, and would have been much better off staying two nights here with one of the boat tours to Stromboli. Fabulous service, free shuttle available to and from the ferry landing and elsewhere, wonderful breakfast, beautiful new hotel and great rooms, just nothing to complain about at all! I didn't use the pool but it looked very nic.
所有评语 » We received a great welcome from the receptionist and felt valued guests for three days - rare. Room was spacious and nice, breakfast good (most Australians are not used to eating cake for breakfast so this is a bit of a turn-off). The first morning they had run out of bread rolls and when I inquired if there were more, they actually went out and bought some. Now that is service. We welcomed the free taxi bus to and from town and the port, but usually walked as it was not far and the climb was . The setting and rooms were lovely. Beautiful pool which looked gorgeous lit up at night. breakfast was substantial very European with rolls cheese cakes etc. It was a ten minute walk to the old part of town which had the shops and restaurants. It was a pleasant enough walk but the hotel also provided a shuttle bus if you didn't feel like walking. We really enjoyed our stay there and would certainly recommend the hotel to others Lipari is a great place to stay one or more nights and a great plac. Nice hotel just outside the center of Lipary city - 10 minutes by foot, but the hotel also offers a shuttle service. The rooms are spacious and have a balcony or terrace. Breakfast was good, with a larger variety of food than most places in Italy that we've come across so far. One of the best things of the hotel is its lovely, accommodating personnel - they were all really great and helpful and made you feel right at home. Thanks again for that, we will be happy to come back some day!. The room was very nice and clean. The pool at the B&B is very nice as well. The location of the B&B is not ideal as it is some distance away from the port of Lipari, but this issue is answered very well by the staff as they do a shuttle service to the port and city of Lipari. You can ask them other things as well, they are very friendly and speak good English. The breakfast was very good as well. We had a wonderful time out there!. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very nice and very well kept and clean. Though the location is central and very easy to reach the centre on foot the hotel still offered a very efficient and free of charge shuttle service upon request- with a smile. The breakast outside with beautiful surroundings and the croissant with ricotta filling was one of the highlights of our holiday :-D. We highly recommend this hotel!. The staff were very friendly. The hotel shuttle bus was excellent and it ran on time every time. At first the location seems a little bit out of town but we walked back one evening and it was only 10 mins. If you have a car like we did there is good secure parking. The rooms were great size and very clean. The pool was lovely to come back to in the evening with plenty of loungers and quiet atmosphere. Definitely stay in this hotel!!!. Nothing but praise for this hotel. From arrival to departure the staff couldn't be more helpful. Accommodation was spacious, comfortable and clean, facilities were perfect including the pool area. Even the distance to the town wasn't too overbearing. This is a hotel which cries out for you to return. I would highly recommend Borgo Eolie. Our room was beautiful, with our own private terrace overlooking the landscaped gardens. The pool was in impeccable condition. Outstanding value for money and friendly staff. The hotel has its own shuttle bus so you can call them to pick you up from the port. Staff was wonderful and service top notch. Great breakfast not typical Italian - extras added ham, cheese, & eggs - nice selection of fresh fruit.. inside or outside dining. Great car service if you don't bring your car to the island.. pickup and drop off - downtown or ferry docks. The staff is great and very helpful. They have a complimentary shuttle to and from the port and to the city center. Breakfast was good and plenty to fill you up. The rooms were spacious and clean. They even had a little kitchenette in our room hidden in what appeared to be a wardrobe. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool and lovely staff, which offered a free shuttle to the port and the old town (although it's just a 7 minute walk to the city centre). The rooms are spacious and very well maintained, we really enjoyed spending time there. Very quiet, chilled out hotel, about a 10-15 min walk from the centre of Lipari Town. They have a shuttle service which is very handy if you don't fancy the walk into town! Lovely pool, great breakfast, very relaxing - would love to visit again!. This placed was incredible. We felt like we had won a wonderful game show prize. Marble floors, balconies, clean, bright, new, well kept. Just wonderful. Grounds very pleasant and while location a bit away from town, shuttle service made it convenient if one didn't want to walk. Staff extremely accommodating. the staff was really friendly and very forthcoming with shuttle services downtown and to the port area every room has its own terrace / balcony which was a real treat at the end of our Sicily tour. Very helpful staff - the guy makes trips every 30 minutes to pick up guests from central point every vending till midnight. Also always helpful with genuine smile. The holiday was very good value, rooms and pool were excellent. Staff were very nice and helpful. would definetly recommend and return to this hotel, thanks. I can't think of a single thing that wasn't great here!. The mattresses weren't that comfortable, but that's personal taste I guess and was something that we often found lacking in our Italian hotels. Although the hotel is situated in a quiet area, the insulation between the rooms could be better; it was quite easy to hear your room neighbours (depending on how noisy they were of course). Nothing. Nothing. Nothing!!. Location is a bit far from the main street and you have to walk up a hill. If you are not physically fit it might be tiring. Also the wifi only works in the reception area, not the room (minor inconvenience). No Wifi in rooms but in common area. It would be nice to have a tea and coffee making facility in the room to have a hot drink on the balcony without having to get to the bar. That we only signed on to stay one night :( Also there was some confusion about the reservations we madee for her on letsbookhotel.com. We canceled one set of reservations but the hotel apparently was never notified, as when we showed up there was one room too many reserved. our bed was a little too firm. there really wasn't anything to dislike. Pool was drained because we visited in the off-season (early April) and no laundry facilities on site. Breakfast was just okay. Coffee should not be instant in Italy! That was the only disappointment and easily fixable. wifi could only be received in vicinity of the reception area, not in all rooms. The breakfast could have been much better. badly made eggs and watered down juice. No variation in menu over 6 days. They offered to post our post cards, but we're three weeks later now and not one card has arrived. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the city centre. The hotel offers a free shuttle service, and you can walk to the port and city centre, but is a bit out of the way. Its distance from the town and its rather unmemorable surroundings. No screens so when maid left doors & window open I was badly bitten by mosquitoes. N/A. No cheese or vegetables at breakfast except tomato and one sort of yellow cheese. the breakfast was the same every day we stay at the hotels, not too much to choose. 10 min walk from the harbor/center... but there is a bus service :). A little walk from the center of the village to the hotel, but the hotel offers a shuttle. letsbookhotel.com didn't advice us to call for the free pick up from the port. No fridge in room. Nothing. It was perfect. The town. Location is lost in urbanisation - no restaurant - far from town center. Wi-fi only in hall, not in the room.
