  The staff were very helpful when I arrived late and they ordered me a meal from outside and brought it to mey room. They helped me with emails and general information about local sights and transport.   A simple door in a wall on a old town street hides a beautifully designed 'vertical' B&B. If you are not afraid of walking and climbing dozens of steep stairs then Nonna Jole is a great choice for staying in the old section of Lecce.   We stayed in the self contained apartment in the Palazzo in Lecce for four nights in the beginning of June. It was absolutely great. The space was large, clean and perfectly fitted for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. The photos just don't do the place justice. It is lovely. There is a balcony too. Italian breakfast is delicious with cake and jam homemade, excellent cappuccino. The owner Daniele is helpful, always ready to give precious advice.
