  We loved everything about La Quercia Di Mamre -- especially the staff. The proprietor and his son were very warm, friendly and helpful.   Every things were wonderful! Comfortable suite has one small stair (step) between the living room and the kitchen place and the same one betweet the bathroom and the cloakroom (it may be difficul for small children who don't walk yet). The breakfast was servered at the suite with our preference. Everyday the room was cleaned during our l - We with the daughter stopped in apartments in the center of Rome. It was very convenient. We had the keys, could feel at home. There is a mini kitchen where it is possible to cook food, to make coffee. Manuel the wonderful owner, was very attentive and useful to us. Five minutes to the fountain and the Spanish ladder, and thus very quiet place. I recommend for couple of friends or a family.

  We stayed with two kids }5 and 8) only for one-night stop on our way to U.S. but definitely will use it again when we go to Roma for few days to see the city - perfect place in city center, nearby is a small plaza with fountain - authentic feeling of Roma's "genius loci" -walking distance to Colosseum (you can see it from window), DiTrevi fountain... 别人怎么说 » etc. - simple B&B, clean, enough space, all you really need is there -warm and kind welcome from Roxana (even if we arrived a bit later than exp - I loved everything. You can see the colluseum from the window! The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff couldn't of helped us more. Carried our bags, helped with maps and booked taxis for us. The breakfast was exceptional and there was always extra sandwiches included for our lunch.

  If you like to stay in an apartment rather than a hotel then this is for you. It's an old fashioned building and the room is spacious with lovely parquet flooring. You are greeted by a fab Italian man who gives you the necessary info to get by and the pizzas down the road a bit are to die for! Close to one of the biggest flea markets which made our visit to Rome more interesting. Good value for money. A great place to stay when you are planning to stay all day outside visiting the city.
