  This was a great place to stay in Rome! The staff was very helpful and informative. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and had a nice size bathroom. We were surprised by how quiet the place was given the lively weekend nightlife in Trastevere. We really loved the neighborhood feel of Trastevere. There were numerous bars and restaurants to choose fro - I studied lots of B&Bs and spent weeks reading various reviews. The Relais Casa Della Fornarina exceeded our expectations. Large and quiet room. Very clean. Vouchers for a full American breakfast which we didn't get at any other B&B we stayed at. Walking distance to everything in Trastevere. Just don't judge a book by it's cover and how it looks from the outside. A+++ in my book.

  Of course, this is the best apartment I have stayed in during my Europe trip! Perfect location: few minutes walk to the bus station(poor metro in Roma, so bus is the best travel tool) and excellent location in the old city. The location is just perfect: quiet but very close to major attractions like vatican and the very cool neighborhood of Trastevere with loads of nice restaurants, bars and shops.   The nuns were very welcoming. There were a couple nuns who spoke English, and the ones who didn't speak English were happy to go get one who did so we could get directions or recommendations on nearby restaurants. We walked everywhere and appreciated how easy it was to cross the river and dine in The Travestere neighborhood in the evenings. The townhouse itself is beautiful and restful. Very friendly people that were both very welcoming, helpful and keen to make sure we had a nice stay. Upon arrival we were greeted and also given a quick but thorough rundown of the city and the best places to eat, attractions and their distances to our location which was a great way to start our planning!
