  This apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Is 5 min walk from Waterbus station S. Angelo and around 10min walk from Piazza San Marco. The location is perfect for starting by and coming back from a visiting day by feet, the vaporetto and the schuttle station to the airport are on the corner. The apartment was very clean, with a high ceiling, a view to the sant'angelo square which is very quiet at night. Also, I was sent directions by hotel staff in advance, so it was very easy to find the place (which usually can be quite tricky in Venice).   We recently stayed at Hotel Al Piave in the 2 bedroom family suite. The rooms were clean and exactly as advertised (2 rooms and a bathroom). Prior to choosing Hotel Al Piave, I had read the negative customer ratings just to see what the worst case scenario could end being, along with how the hotel management responded. The only negative comment could have be - We had a family suite for four, ideal for us with two adult children on the trip with us. Great location for exploring Venice. Staff helpful with lots of advice, maps provided & guidance for getting around & where to go.
