  Hotel Lodi is on a quiet place near Coloseum in a residental part of Rome. Easy to acces by train (Tuscolana st.), underground (San Giovani) and also by walk. The staff were excellent. The room was quite big and siply but nice equipped. We had a TV in the room. There were also two PCs with internet connection for free or wifi for free.   Excellent price to service ratio (cheap but good services). Air-conditioned room, clean, with no major problems (like bad small). Only sometimes we must "wait" for hot water for 5 minutes (see dislikes). Very good access from Termini station, by walk for approximately 25 minutes (follow the rail of the tram). There's small supermarket across the street, and it will be handy for you as breakfast is very 'italian' in this hotel. Bed was ok, not extremely comfortable, but clean and felt quite fresh. The price-to-location ratio was five star!
