  the location is very good close to the main metro station if you want to rent a car or to travel by train the florence , venice or any place outside rome. the colosseum in 5 to 10 minutes walking from the apartment. the shopping street is 5 min away. the staff are friendly and helpful. the wifi is good. there are restaurants and pubs nearby .

Perfect location: few minutes walk to the bus station(poor metro in Roma, so bus is the best travel tool) and excellent location in the old city. The location is just perfect: quiet but very close to major attractions like vatican and the very cool neighborhood of Trastevere with loads of nice restaurants, bars and shops.   Ercole was an excellent host. He greated us and helped carry our bags up to the 4th floor where our room was. The Bluehostel has 3 rooms on the 4th floor and the others are on the 3rd floor. Be prepared to take the stairs, there is no elevator. We didn't mind at all. The shower was great with enough hot water, good water pressure, and a nice shower head. The absolute best - The rooms are clean, decorated beautifully and very comfortable. We were met by Ricardo who helped us with our luggage and also made sure we were settled in. Also provided us with a map of what to see in Rome, where to eat, drink, shop etc. Everything is thought of to make your stay as pleasant as possible and have to say Ercole and Ricardo were both so helpful with any questions. We would stay there again.
