  I'm going to beguin from the end... We loved it !! Being only with my 11yo I thought staying here could be good fun, because of the exuberant decoration. Well, we didn't get that very exuberance, but we had the rare privilege of being the first once ucupying the room, coz the hotel is brand new, and that's probably why. There were works going on on the building, so we could not see the view, but I could see a bit outside when the light was right, and the vi - We took a taxi from Termini station direct to the hotel. Easy to find, apart from we were not aware that the reception is on the 4th floor. The hotel has a Baroque inspired interior and as such is decadent and over the top, but beautiful.The hotel is new and still had evidence of building work, but it was August and the builders were on holiday so no big deal. The staff were friendly and helpful and could not do enough to help us, whether it was extra coffee at breakfast or advice on getting ar

  Gambero was centrally located in the heart of Rome making it very easy to just walk outside and start the day. We spent long hours just walking around and stumbling upon amazing historical monuments.   Had a wonderful time in Rome, Duca d`Alba was faultless, excellent friendly staff, location was 1 minute away from Cavour metro station. The Colosseum was a 10 minute stroll.
