  we had a 3 bed room which was very big for Florence and nicely decorated, big bathroom too. the administrator friendly, he recommended a very nice restaurant( expensive but worth the money) . - decoration is very nice. personal is very friendly and intimate. room is comfortable, bathroom is also big.

  The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located about 10 -12 min walk from Florence SMN train station. The hotel is on the third floor of the building without elevator, but the owner has helped with our luggage, so it was not an issue at all. Very clean and quiet. The breakfast room has an astonishing view of Florence roof - The Locanda dei Guelfi proved to be a good choice for us and we enjoyed our stay there. We had no difficulty in finding the hotel and the steps up to the third floor were not an issue for us although I can see that it might be a problem for some. The location is excellent although the area is quite busy but this was not a problem for us. The room and facilities were very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
