Great apartments to spend a few days in Florence. Location could not be better (Duomo in just two minutes walk away). Design rooms favorably with ordinary hotel rooms. The friendly owners Valter and Albena will do everything for your comfort and good mood. Tasty breakfasts and the feeling that you are at a good people, and not in a hotel. All on 5 +. 所有评语 » Albena! She was so wonderful to us! We arrived earlier than the stated check-in time, we had planned to just drop our bags and come back later. She said since our room was not ready (I didn't expect it to be) that we could have a different, larger room. It was a wonderful surprise! It seems that every where we had stayed prior was a little small and cramped, but this room was so huge and spacious, it felt great to be able to stretch out and breathe! She treated us like family, brought a delicio. I highly recommend this B&B and only have positive reviews to give. Albena and her husband were so welcoming and helpful. They really took care of us, and made sure that we were comfortable and that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Soggiorno Panerai is a hidden gem, and I was very happy we stumbled on to this place in our stressful search to find decent accommodation in Florence. It is just a few minutes’ walk from the Duomo, quite centrally located which is very practical when you are. Albina was just a whirlwind and couldn't do enough for you and Walter was very friendly and helpful. Their young helper who greeted us, Luca, was a breath of fresh air and so helpful. The breakfast was excellent - after fresh fruit, croissants and yogurt you could order anything like bacon and eggs or fritatas. The location was good and it was only about a 10 minute walk from the train station - so close to the Duomo and the accademia (where Michelangelo's David resides). The location of this B & B is excellent - a 15-minute walk or less to most major attractions in Florence. The owners are truly accommodating and very pleasant. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning, and if you have any requests, they try to comply. All in all, this is an excellent place to stay in Florence. We were there in summer, and in addition to the coolness of the building (very high ceilings), the air conditioning worked well. We loved our stay at B & B Soggiorno Panerai. We wished we could have stayed longer, once we saw how wonderful the room was and how charming the owners, Walter and Albena, were. Breakfast, which was served in the room, was delicious. Our room was located close to both the Accademia and the Duomo. The frescoed ceiling really added to the atmosphere. What a wonderful location and special place to stay. We LOVED this little B&B, it's a renovated building in the heart of Florence. GREAT location. Balcony had a fantastic view of the Duomo. The owners, Walter and Albana, were super friendly and wonderful. Albana made a delicious breakfast every morning, and Walter offered great suggestions for places to visit and eat. We will DEFINITELY return on our next trip to Florence. Don't miss this little gem!. We liked everything! The owners of the hotel are very nice persons, really carrying about you and your stay, and making it great experience. The distance from the railway station is 10-13 minutes walking (even with heavy luggage), really easy to find. The proximity of all historical places is the advantage as well. We would definitely stay there next time we will come to Florence!. The staff was exceptionally helpful, friendly and personable. We could not have asked for more! The location was excellent and our room was very quiet. The breakfasts were delicious and served in our room to order. The coffee was wonderful! There were several dining options nearby (we especially liked the OK Bar). We HIGHLY recommend this B&B and would stay here again. The hostess is so nice and friendly and she provided us lots of information about florence once we got into the room. The breakfast started from 8.00am, however we had to catch the early train next morning, the hostess woke up earlier and prepared us an extremely lovely hot breakfast! The internet is very fast and stable. We highly recommend this place for all tourists. Our room was just beautiful; one couldn't have asked for anything nicer. It was easily accessible and offered all of the amenities that we needed - and then some. Albena and Walter were great hosts. We were a little skeptical when we first pulled up in front of Via dei Servi, 49, but our concerns were soon alleviated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were delightful! So friendly and keen to suggest things to visit. Breakfast was huge! You will not go hungry! Location was excellent. We were able to walk everywhere. Plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from nearby. Vegetarian options at the Ok Bar a few minutes away. Laundrette was also right next to the building. Very friendly and helpful host, who happily changed our room when there was a plumbing problem. Ideally placed for visiting the city - only 100 yards from the Duomo. The property was full of character with high ceilings and appropriate furnishings. Excellent breakfast served in our room each morning. Good experience overall. The owners were fantastic! They tried really hard to make our stay as nice as possible. Our 5 year old daughter really enjoyed the place. The breakfasts which were served in your room were excellent and a great way to start the day. Location was excellent, very close to the Cathedral. Would defiantly stay here again. Everything!! A little hotel is situated on the first floor of the building, all rooms are big, comfortable and well furnished. The charming Albena runs this hotel perfectly, breakfast is excellent, so you can feel at home at the center of Firenze. the lady who greeted us and looked after us was wonderful, the room was huge we could have lived in it. We weren't sure when the cab dropped us off if we were in the right place, because it isn't clearly marked like a hotel would be. It seems more like a private residence. This turned out to be a plus, but we were a little nervous at first that we were in the wrong place. Nothing. The only thing people need to be aware of is the numbering system on the street where this B&B is located. You need to find the number 49 that's closer to the Hospital of the Innocents and farther from the Duomo. Also, be aware that you need to ring the bell to the LEFT of the one that says "hotel," and NOT the one that says hotel. but these are very small quirks that in no way took away from our stay there. The weather--LOL. Nothing. It's too perfect. Remembering which key to use for which door was a challenge, but we understood the need for the security. I don't think there was Air Conditioning in the room but we stayed in April so that was not a problem. The First night our room did not have a bath or hand held shower unit so bathing our child was difficult but this was fixed quickly the next day as the owners moved us to a better room. Too little time in Florence. Nothing. We only wished we could have stayed longer in Florence as we could not visit the many interesting places there as we only stayed for 1 nite. There was nothing not to like. Just a little confused upon arrival! Don't push the button that says Hotel. I think the right one says Panerai instead. I Just made a quick call to letsbookhotel.com and we found each other in the hall but if you can get inside it's only up one flight of stairs. And just wished the shower was bigger. Ability to leave bags before checkin time would have been beneficial. The town of Florence is difficult o navigate in a vehicle. Shower stall was small and accessories have to be improved. The water closet made noises,but it might be our fault, since we arrived much earlier than the usual check-in time, we chose the room which was not originally reserved for us. Was a little difficult to find. Nothing!. Slightly noisy street. Room needed updates such as bed and bathroom but sufficient. No English channels on TV but in room very infrequent. Would recommend for price. Lack of hot water..owner did try to get it fixed. It might be noisy in the nights as the house is located in a very central street, 300 meters from Dumo. You can sleep only with closed windows. Not a thing. Liked everything. Specifically, no screens in windows. Generally, stay was too short; wish we had been there longer.
