What a little gem ! Roberta and her mum were the perfect hosts. They were always on hands to answer any queries we had about getting out and about in Tuscany. The facilities were good - the fridge in the room was a godsend. Yes it may be a bit 'rustic' but it was very homely and we always felt very comfortable and at ease. The location was perfect - a very short, flat walk into the centre where you can find many restaurants and bars. Castellina is a great base for visiting other parts of Tuscan.
所有评语 » A three minute walk into the village of Castellina provided a restaurants, shopping and wine outlets. A drive around Chianti vineyards is a must with quaint villages and lovely countrtside. Roberta ensured our stay was comfortable, restful and provided good local knowledge. The pool was great as it was hot in August. Rooms were comfortable and rustic. We had such an amazing time ... that was my first time I stayed in B&B, thanks to my work I've been always fortunate to stay in best of hotels but there is now Four Seasons or Hyatt in Castelina. It felt like staying with your family. Very clean, great breakfast and the best coffee I had in ages. Truly recommended. Albergo Il Colombaio has a great location, an easy walk into Castellina. Very nice staff, Roberta was very helpful in making dinner reservations and helping with communications. Comfortable room with nice view of countryside. Pool was great on the hot afternoons. Would stay there again. Great charming rustic accommodation in a rural setting (complete with pool and shaded gardens); yet less than 5 minutes walk to the center of Castelina in Chianti. Very comfortable and relaxing with an enthusiastic and helpful host. Highly recommended. Roberta and staff were outstanding, she's happy to make recommendations and reservations on your behalf. Entire facility is charming rustic, pool and breakfast are excellent, location is absolutely perfect for exploring the region. Charming room in a beautiful old farm house within walking distance to Castellina in Chianti. Breakfast was simple, with great coffee. Very quiet rooms, nice view, and a sitting area. Great value. We would stay here again. Beautiful traditional italian villa/hotel, set in a wonderful friendly hillside town in Chianti. Staff very laid back & friendly. Lovely coffee for breakfast, relaxing loungers at pool. Bedroom cool and quaint. location! large room with huge bed,bathroom also roomy.Close to town of Castellina,5 minute walk,centaaly located amongst all hill towns. English satellite stations on tv. The hostess was very nice and helped us a lot. there is a parking in front of the place. the view was nice. the breakfast was very satisfying. Location was central and near the village and the owners were nice. The price was not too bad. +friendly staff +good facilities, nice pool area +clean. Good price good location beautiful location. Nice family house in Tuscany. Our mattress could do with replacing as it was quite firm for us. nothing. No downside. Weather was rainy & damp,had to ask for radiator heat to be turned on to take chill out of the room,should not have to ask. Rugs on tile floors in rooms would help.Breakfast was adequate. A few minor tweaks and it would be perfect!!!. the bad wasn't that comfortable. the lightning in the room was weak. the wifi was weak (it didn't work on the laptop, just on the smartphone. Beds were uncomfortable and the mattress too soft. It's was hard two people to sleep in the same bed. The room was quite cold and there was no air condition. -ok breakfast but limited. Cool and rainy not hotels fault. The location is good, but the accommodation and swimming pool are somewhat neglected.
