We arrived at Shanti House at 11 in the evening. Despite being later than expected due to a delayed flight, several of the staff met us at the door. They offered us glasses of juice and garlands, as well as noting that room service would be happy to accommodate us. On their advice, we booked an early morning departure for Agra and they took care of all the details. They offered a wake up call, breakfast at 6:30, and even bags of snacks to take on our journey. 所有评语 » I stayed at Shanti home twice, once at the beginning and once at the end of my India trip. It is a little way from the city centre, which is nice as a bit quieter and anyway only 3 minutes from the metro. It is a lovely, spotlessly clean place and the staff go out of their way to make you welcome. The food is their rooftop restaurant was some of the best I had in India and anytime I return to Delhi I will always stay here. I liked everything about our stay at the Shanti Home. The food, the room, the tranquility but what impressed me most was the friendliness of all the staff. They were helpful and courteous from entering to leaving the hotel. Transfers well organized .Reception sorted out a problem we had in Delhi for us.They early take your well-being and comfort to heart. On our day trip to Agra the kitchen made us breakfast at 4.30 in the morning. With a smile!. The Room was very clean and nice The ambiente was perfect(beatiful furniture good restaurant) The service was very good (helped us booking tours and accomodations with no service charge and gave us a complementary national mobile for several weeks). Nothing. Everything was amazing. Leaving. Location is West Delhi and a long way from the centre of Delhi. We booked a private car from Delhi to Agra, and paid about 77,000. I think this may have been overpriced. Great that it is near a metro station but a bit of a random location in delhi, easy enough access except at rush hour. Location was good for the airport only. location, location, location. lack of any view from bedroom. expensive for lack of view and location, out of city centre. Did not feel safe venturing out after dark in the area. Used Metro to get back , recommend by staff member, not good experience at all as single woman.
