We booked 2 studio's for a family city trip. Which happened to be a perfect choice for this purpose. Spacious rooms with all necessary comfort, soundproof (provided that the windows are closed) and clean. The free WiFi deserves a special mention: perfect quality everywhere (router/AP in 1 of the 2 rooms we booked)! We didn't try the swimming pool, spa and fitness facilities (lack of time), but we could see that they were used by many guests which may be a good indicator for the quality. The .
所有评语 » Exellent location (5 minutes walk to Okrogon metro and fast tram stations; 10 minutes walk to St. Istvan Cathedral). Lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. Very clean room with new furniture and all necessary equipment (big refrigerator, oven, teapot, hair fan etc.) We stayed here for week and category of our room was upgraded - that's why we lived in 2-room apartments. Our windows faced the internal yard - that's why it was a silence (though, on Friday night you can hear screams from night club. I had read couple of reviews on here and trip advisor as I do when booking any accommodation and was bit worried. Firstly apartments are really nice, big and in excellent location, got great gym, swimming pool, central heating and air con. Very central to many bars. Do not hesitate too book these apartments. This is my second trip to Budapest, first accommodation elsewhere was terrible this was faultless next time I go back I would only choose here. The hotel it's very well located. Just a short walk to the metro and the main street. The staff were very helpful. Especially a girl named Ella. She was amazing. Since I arrived to the hotel, she advised me about everything . Since the places I should visit it, Nightclubs, Metro system . Literally all information about Budapest The room was just Wonderful. Just a perfect studio. Free access to fitness center and free Wi-Fi. New appartments, originally made for longer business stays, so you'll find everything that you need for a short or a long stay, even fully equiped kitchenette. The pool with the sauna in the building is very nice and cleen, with nice warm watter. Staff is friendly and location is great, few minutes walking from the opera house. They don't have room service during the stay, but we didn't really need it on our 3days stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful, but I wish to single out one person named Ella who went out of her way to help me with information regarding metro services and to make sure that my WiFi worked. (It didn't and she brought a different cable connection which did). In addition I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom at no extra charge, plus a very thoughtful bottle of wine. The staff was extremely helpful and nice, the rooms were perfectly clean, the location is super-central, the spa was appropriate for a city-weekend-trip and the breakfast was delicious(and a lot). I would certainly go again at this hotel (I was at other hotels in Budapest with more stars, and it wasn't so clean and people were certainly not that nice). The location is perfect. You have all things nearby. You walk 5min to the Oktagon metro M2 which brings you in 3-4 stations to all attractions. Also shops, restaurants, pups and clubs are in short walking distance. The spa and gym is super. We would have liked to stay longer then 2 nights. Budapest to vistit needs min. 3-4 days. The view from the balcony (we were up in the Towe), the big balcony with seats and table was wonderful, the very good situation of the Garden - it was possible to walk to any place incl railway station. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was very good. I would recommend the upper room (107) to all my friends. Very nice, modern spacious apartments, fully equipped. Really helpful and kind staff, especially Zoli at the reception. Gym and pool use included, nice restaurant just in the building. Perfect location, right in the centre, easy access to literally everything. Will definitely be back. Nice hotel, very good location close by the opera house. During the weekend it can be a little bit noisy on the street but after closing the window it didn't bother us. We would certainly book it again because of the central location and decent room with a lot of facilities. Good Sized Apartments, Minimalistic, Clean, good quality kitchen and appliances. Staff is very helpful if you ask them nicely. They all speak very good english compared to general population. It is very popular and almost impossible to get a room. Very very good location. It was a great experience: we had a room in the tower for a romantic evening. Sauna facilities in the wellness centre and the hot tub in the room made it great. The rooms are well designed, and ours was on the top floor with a pretty nice view on Bp from a large terrace. This hotel is very good. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are comfortable. Everything is clean. The location is superb. The price is in my opinion a little bit high, but reasonable. I would reccomend this hotel, if u would like to have a nice citytrip to budapest. If you book a room on the street side and you like to leave the window open during the night, street noise from partying youth may be become a bit annoying at some times. There were no any serious troubles. Just 3 small: - 2 lifts is too little for such a big building - We didn't see any signboard that it's a City Gardens here - only Broadway (it was not a problem for us because we read guests opinions on letsbookhotel.com and new about it - but for others it might cause a problem) - Wi-Fi passwords were printed on big sheets in the room - but they were wrong. Only when I asked about it at the reception, they gave me right passwords. only thing I could say would be negative is I was going to pay on my card on arrival which they charged 6% which I could cope with BUT conversion rate they offered me was 290HF to £1 when rates in shops was 342HF to £1. So only thing I would say is get your money changed before you go to hotel to avoid any extra charges other than it was perfect. Nothing to say. nothing. I would have liked a teakettle and possibility to cook hot water, but it was not necessary - the days were warm. We stayed for 3 nights, and for that length of stay there is no room service provided for the apartments, only after day 3... When we would like to book an extra night we had to book it via internet at first, afterwards it was also possible if we would pay in advance. Looked a bit strange to us to book via internet while the guy was sitting behind his computer. We could smell the previous guests had smoked in our room. No frying pan, not in studios, not in one bedroom apartments. You need to book in advance. Was expecting to have a kitchen in the room but the expectations were false: read room description carefully. Parking places were pretty crowded and had small space for maneuvers. Water in the pool a bit too cold but acceptable. - Nothing else. There was a bit of a musty smell in the room and it turned out that there was a full ash-tray hidden in one of the kitchen cupboards that the cleaners had missed. The air-conditioning did not work and that meant sleeping with the windows open to the noisy bar-lined street below. Water leaked from shower to under sink, getting towels wet, kitchen counter was a bit run down and cheap, could use more pots and pans. The tv only had channels in Hungarian, and the dvd only accepted CDs, and not USBs or other files besides .avi. we took three bikes and we have problems in two of them. As a matter of fact, I fell down because a pedal dropped when I was riding the bike. On the other hand, we weren´t informed about the accomodations. So, we didn´t know that the gym and the swimming pool were free. Pool is on the cold side and not for little kids. you need 1000ft deposit for entering the spa where is pool. The garage is very narrow and it is written different name of hotel. The breakfast was not appealing. We found it confusing that the sign outside said city home and not city gardens. Nothing. Breakfast wasn't worth 8 euro. The breakfast was poor and the pool was crowded. 6% tax, if paying by credit card. The room was a bit smelly unfortunately... On our stay ther was no air conditioner!!! Awfull, we where at 30ºc. Hope problem solved.... They offered us a discount for next visit. Only if they got breakfast. BTW, the metro station is "Vorosmarty utca" instead of "Vorosmarty ter" marked on the presenting page. And i think the nearest should be "Oktogen". if window open noisy. unreliable internet. Couple of immaterial things: - no sugar for tea; - no salt and oil at the apartment kintchen; - short and narrow bed-sheets. Everything rest is great!. too much noise from nearby pub. Nothing serious to dislike. The room smelled a bit moldy when entered so needed to open window as soon as being in the room. The reception desk was a little untidy. all good!!.
