  Great location - a short walk from the seafront, beaches and main strip, which is ok but even better, a few minutes' drive up the hill (walkable if fitter and less lazy than me!) are delightful twin villages with as many good eateries as you could wish for. Less than half an hour from Heraklion airport. - We loved staying at Elia and Tina apartments. It is a very beautiful and quiet location, yet a short walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants. Constantina provided a full, homemade breakfast, including her own from-scratch, delicious jams and marmalades, pastries and rolls. She is a very gracious hostess.

Short walk to beach and all clubs, no need to catch a cab.

  I've spent one week in Stella Paradise. It is at 3 minutes walking from the beach. I had a studio with kitchenette. The kitchen was new, everything was very clean, the studio was cleaned everyday. The staff is very very very friendly. The first day they waited for me until late in the night to let me check in and I was welcomed with a big smile!   The hotel is located right next to the shopping center of Hersonissos, and within a short walking distance from the boardwalk, which is where the nightlife is. The rooms are spacious, well kept, and include the basic utilities. The pool is small but the view from the rooftop of the hotel is really nice. Overall, great value for your money. The manager of the hotel was absolutely amazing - always there to take care of our needs and help us with any problem, very nice and friendly. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it!

  Dyctinna Villa is a beautiful place. The apartments are spacious, comfortable (although the beds were a little hard for me: bed base in wooden planks) with a magnificent view of the sea.   Nice resort, very comfortable with children, many different pools, beaches, playgrounds, activities for kids. Friendly staff, nice gardens.
