  Great location - a short walk from the seafront, beaches and main strip, which is ok but even better, a few minutes' drive up the hill (walkable if fitter and less lazy than me!) are delightful twin villages with as many good eateries as you could wish for. Less than half an hour from Heraklion airport. - We loved staying at Elia and Tina apartments. It is a very beautiful and quiet location, yet a short walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants. Constantina provided a full, homemade breakfast, including her own from-scratch, delicious jams and marmalades, pastries and rolls. She is a very gracious hostess.

  I've spent one week in Stella Paradise. It is at 3 minutes walking from the beach. I had a studio with kitchenette. The kitchen was new, everything was very clean, the studio was cleaned everyday.   Dyctinna Villa is a beautiful place. The apartments are spacious, comfortable (although the beds were a little hard for me: bed base in wooden planks) with a magnificent view of the sea. The liannes flowers around the balconies are stunning and the pool is nice.   Nice resort, very comfortable with children, many different pools, beaches, playgrounds, activities for kids. Friendly staff, nice gardens. Water park next to the resort was good. - I liked the all inclusive and food and drinks were lovely. Plenty of pools to choose from and loads of water slides to slide on all day long!
