When we arrived there was a problem as the hotel had not received my online confirmed booking.Anastia who is the hotel owner was very professional.She gave us option to go for a not so good room at her hotel and get some refund or she would upgrade us to a better room at another property for a day till then the type of room we had requsted would become available at Solaris.She was very friendly,great problem solver .Altough we spent a day at the hotel she made sure our stay was comfortable.As i.
所有评语 » We came to Santorini for the wedding of our best friend and we stayed in Solaris. The hotel was very nice near to the center so we could easily reach our friend's hotel walking. Very nice clean swimming pool and a nice little bar there. The reception staff was very kind and helpfull we hadd all the information we needed. The room was like we saw it in the internet very clean and comfortable. It was a great stay!! We loved it! The whole staff was amazing. They were very warm and friendly! Many thanks to Anastasia in the reception and Maria for the delicious breakfast! The location couldn't have been better, so close to the center and in the same time so quiet and relaxing with nice view!! Lovely!!. Clean. Location (5 min from city center - not too far or close). Breakfast ( very convenient for a small hotel). Staff ( very friendly and helpful). Airport/port pickup/drop-off for reasonable price even very early or late. Pool (we did not have time for it but it looked nice). Customer servise was spectecular; the stuff went out of their way to help with finding tennis courts, barbecue meat, move furniture and gave us a ride at the end. Treated us as family rather than as guests. Breakfast was basic but good; nice bread and eggs. We had a very nice stay at Hotel Solaris! The staff was warm, helpful and really hospitable! Mattress not comfortable (I can feel the springs on my back). Initially they put us in a budget (normal) studio which is lower than the one I booked (superior), that was very poor. The night guard can not fix the problem and we had to spend a horrible night till the morning. They offered multiple things for compensation which they did not do all of them. The second room was much better (my grade but even bigger i.e. triple not double). Nothing. Everything was very good. Nothing!!!. Nothing I can think of. Hard beds Front rooms are nice and sunny but suffer from road noise. to reach the town you need to climb up a small hill- but not so high and not so tiring unlike many Greek island hotel transfers to/from airport/port were priced. Lines everthing. The room was not cleaned regularly. It is supposed that this should be done when the guests are away; however, it happened that on one day they waited for us to come back for an afternoon rest and they wanted to clean it then. The breakfast wasn't that variable. The mattress was uncomfortable. The breakfast area was a bit dark, dated and small. Poor breakfast.
