The staff were fantastic, very helpful rectifyng a mistake I had made. The location was stunning, the swallows and the sunrise could not be outdone and despite our night time experience I would certainly stay again for a day or 2.

We liked the atmosphere. It's a very old building with plenty of charm and a great view of the harbour. The owner Anthony was great and made us feel very welcome.
The Hotel is in the center of the old town facing the Venetian port with stunning sea-view. It is quite comfortable and the staff is friendly and very nice.
The owner and his son were extremely friendly and helpful, and very easy to talk to. They were eager to help out and left a great impression with us.
Fabulous views from 3rd floor, good position in old town, a little difficult to find. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Fridge in room.

The good things far outweighed what I hope was a one off. We expected the location to come with a certain amount of disturbance but by all accounts one, and only one bar chose to ignore the rules on the one night we happened to stay. I have to say the owner was quick to investigate and could not apologise enough although it certainly was not his fault...his reputation yes.
Due to the close location to the harbour it was noisy at night. We stayed on a Friday night so it was very busy. But it was ok.
The best rooms with sea view are at the 3rd floor and there is no lift.
Troublesome internet on the 3rd floor. Other than that, nothing to complain about. (First World Problems).
