  The Alster Hof was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Hamburg.   This is a great hotel to stay at in Hamburg. It has a cozy feel, and good sized rooms and bathrooms. We were able to walk right into the city center in about 15 minutes, and another 5 minutes to the lake.
