  The hotel was in a lovely setting, near the top of large hill/small mountain. It had fabulous views and was neat and beautifully maintained. Although we arrived very late, at almost 11pm, having phoned to apologise, we were still provided with a cold dinner.   Great location on the lakeside. Hagnau is a great little village with a lovely walk along the waterfront. Great staff at the hotel were very helpful. Thank you for a great stay.

  The location was great! It was a small hotel with simple furnishings, but comfortable and welcoming. - The staff were very helpful and cheerful. The breakfast too was good and abundant, and ready as indicated by the timetable. The site was perfect for access to the city's facilities, especially the baths.

  Great hosts and really lovely accommodation, we were lucky to have the place to ourselves. The recommended restaurant was good and the breakfast provided was top notch. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend it as an overnight stop of for longer visits as there seems lots to do.   Karin was very helpful when we got a bit lost. The hotel was within steps of hiking trails in the Black Forest. A delicious breakfast was served in the morning.
