  I was actually amazed by the hotel. I hadn't expected this standard at all. The bathroom was just beautiful! And I have a particular bee in my bonnet about hotel bathrooms. It was the best hotel bathroom I've ever had the pleasure of using. Location is great, literally around the corner from the S1, S2 and S25 (I could see the st - We chose this hotel both for location and price for a long, Xmas market weekend. On arrival, we were informed that our room rate (c€75/night) was inclusive of breakfast, soft drinks and hot drinks, which was a real bonus. Breakfast selection is fabulous, ranging from the usual cold buffet, cereals etc but also omelets made to order, bacon, sausages etc. Location is ideal for sightseeing by foot - Gestapo HQ, Berlin Wall etc only 10 minutes away, but of course you can also hop on/hop off the sig

  The staff were very, very nice and helpful. The fact that the reception is open 24h is really nice as well. I liked the room, which was very clean, and well planned so that the fact that it was quite small didn't really matter. The bathroom was very nice and clean. I liked to location as well, it's calm and quiet but close to areas which - The value for money at Hotel Johann is excellent, beautiful and spacious room with high ceilings, there is no air condition in the hotel but even during hot days, room remained cool.... Excellent breakfast with top quality products/ingredients! This was a 2nd stay at Hotel Johann and we will certainly come back.

  The hostel is located right next to Voltarstrasse u-bhan station (Underground) which was quite handy. But if you are up for a walk then Alexanderplatz is only 25 mins away.
