  The two staff -- husband and wife?-- were both very friendly and helpful. The hotel is small, and very quiet for somewhere so central. The place was warm and spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was low-key and tasty. There was actual tea in a real tea pot -- not an easy thing to find in coffee-centric Germany! I would highly recommend. - Small hotel, just a few rooms, but nice, especially a common area and breakfast place. Room for one person is really small, but bed was comfy and bathroom was very clean. It was nice to get in my room after my trip, 'cause Koln greeted me with windy and cold weather. Breakfast was fine, too. You can ask for eggs prepared as you like. Everything was a bit better than I expected.

  What a great hotel! The rooms were a good size, clean, comfortable and in a nice quiet location. A quiet street just next to the Dom and a main shopping street, perfect.   Loved the location of the hotel which is so close to the DOM Cathedral, the Rhine River (which extends to 4 countries) the city center with shops, pick up point for city tour and Cologne's tourist center. For those with heavy luggage, there is one flight of stairs to take you - The room was as advertised, clean with all required amenities. Breakfast was awesome with a wide choice of hot and cold food and beverages. Staff was really welcoming and helpful plus they offer you as much fruits as you want and one free bottle of water daily, which was really fantastic. The location is also just a 5 minute walk from the Dom and central station plus there is a metro station just in front of the hotel. Great experience and hotel!

  This was a great little hotel in the centre of the city. 3 mins to the Dom, 5 mins to the main station, 1 min to the shops. Great value for money. Lovely hotel staff. Suprisingly no nose from the streets. - good location,the cathedral,river rhine andmuseums all within walking distance.

  We had a very clean, comfortable room overlooking the street on the first floor. The custom built furnishings were very nice, as was the walk in shower. Very comfortable bed. We had the top floor room which is split over two levels, and fro the top level we could see the Dom. Very convenient location, close to railway station and there is a suburban line almost right underneath the hotel now, so convenient to arrive into the city by train. Breakfast was outstanding, with local gourmet ingredients. Great staff. Quiet location too, set on a quiet back street just outside the central part of town. Highly recommend this place.
