  Nice folks clean room and marble bathroom,good food (but Hackeschermarkt platz a few feet away, full of indoor/sidewalk food places. Short walk to cathedral (Lutheran) with magnificent music for Sunday services and spectacular Vatican like interior. Trains, trolleys, water tour all in five minutes walk. A great find, will return. Oh, the actual fireoplace an - The hotel is located in the very center of the city, however the nearby streets are calm, so at night you can enjoy your rest. It takes just 2 min to reach the S-Bahn station, also you can find here a lot of restaurants and caffee. Every day I took my sandwich on my way to the conference without any time delay. Especially I enjoyed the hotel sitting-room with wonderful fireplace and library - it was awesome! I strongly recommend to stay in Monbijou hotel :)

  My wife and I recently stayed here for the first week of our honeymoon, and we could not have picked a better spot to stay. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment that was larger than the place we live in normally(Quite a feat when staying in Europe).   We arrived well before check-in with the intention of only dropping our bags until the advertised check-in time..   Easy to walk to from the Berlin Hauptbahnhof (about 20 mins walk). The room was clean and uncluttered in an appealing minimalist style. The breakfast selection and presentation were both excellent. - Very nice design of furniture, sink, etc. Excellent location and healthy breakfast buffet. Helpful staff.

Matti was extra helpful as was a female staff member with great Englis - Great location for exploring berlin, easy walk to all major site's and metro right outside front door. Place was very clean, room was a good size, had a good bathroom, was quiet and was very cheap for quality of rooms. Building also had a kitchen available to use and also free washing machine and dryer which is very handy. It's a mix of dorms and private hotel rooms (which i had) and i would stay here again when in Berlin.

  It was an amazing price/ quality ratio. We had a wonderful, huge apartment for a price elsewhere you wouldn't even get a broom closet. We were amazed about the luxurious comfort and the full equipment of the suite. Specially the kitchen had everything from a fridge, micro wave to a washer. You could have moved in there for living.
