Whilst the hotel is extremely dated (80's) it is clean and tidy. It's also spacious - both in the rooms and the public areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was truly excellent. Very convenient location for passing through Bavaria. Gersthofen is also a nice little town with some bars and restaurants - about 10 mins walk away. Easy parking. Nice staff, very helpful - they set up a new table when they saw there was no free table for us for breakfast - and speaking English. The rooms are clean, some have a balcony even though it is not advertised, there are a few English channels on TV and the hotel is very close to the highway and to the center of Augsburg, with a giant free parking.

The area is very quiet. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was rich. Room was clean. The decor is very dated and the rooms obviously of a certain era. The bed might not be the most comfortable for some. The wi-fi only worked sporadically. There is a problem with bandwidth - not network coverage. the free Internet translates into no internet. In most areas it is impossible to get a decent connection and the most you can wish for is read a few emails. No AC and it was pretty warm. Hotel is very bland - buisness traveller style but it has everything you need. in the room smeal a smoking like in to the pub!!!. Lack of restaurant. Quite used look of the furniture. The WIFI was awful, although it should be open and free, there was no speed at all. The hotel appears quite senile and in need of renovation. Delapidating building, grass and bush protruding from between tiles on the balcony, mattress smaller than bed, no dining options, questionable neighborhood. no restaurants nearby. The courtain of the room wich was reserved to us didn´t work hence we had to change the room. The second room was dirty and really small the balcony was very roomy but full of grass it seemed that noone took care about it. Room was dirty. It was hot and no screens and no fans. Kids and people in the parking lot from a wedding reception loud and yelling until after midnight. We had 1/4 tank of gas ( approximately 5 gallons) taken from car gas tank which was in the parking lot where all the noise was, while we slept. Area is industrial but didn't appear to be in a bad neighborhood. Phone did not work! TV is out of the eighties. The beds were more like couches than convert into beds. noise in the room, toilet cistern not working properly, internet was so slow it didn't work really, the fitted carpet was dirty, some food items (namely the diary in the fridge) seemed to stay there for too long thus being not fresh, lack of appropriate response from the hotel staff or just shrugging their shoulders when some serious issues were reported. No restaurant , No Room Service , No Employees, No Service.
