With comfortable furniture of moderate blue and white color, we slept very well. Location is very good, easy to move around the Dom and convinient for small children. very friendly staff, perfect location (less street noise than with hotels directly at the Cathedral, although noise reduction was good anyway), quiet. The best value for money in Cologne .The best location the best staff the best breakfast ! I feel Cologne second home .

Very central position, staff very friendly, breakfast excellant, public parking just down the road, so no negative comments. all staff is friendly. This Hotel's position is awesome, near to the best museums of the city. The room was good and so was the bath. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. I would recommend it!. Breakfast was good, and everything in our room was well kept and clean. This hotel is a three minutes walk away from Cologne's cathedral and train station.No hassles - friendly staff - near station - facilities as expected. Easy for my family arriving at 8.00pm after long rail journey. You can go in Cologne central station with your pyjamas . also very close to the main shopping streets of Cologne. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a very good choice on the menu. It was in a very convenient spot to get to all the amenitys.Proximity to everything we wanted to see. Close to Shops,Dom and Station. Excellent breakfast and a good bar service. loccation, price, good breakfast. easy acces to the centre,the Dom is 50 m away,very nice breakfast. We had to leave at 5.30am and the staff arranged for us to have breakfast very early. They set aside a room for us with a small cold collation. Unfortunately the coffee was stone cold and undrinkable which meant we could not actually eat the black bread (pumpernickel?) that was left for us. We were also disapponted to find that there were no facilities in the rooms for making a hot drink. I have no complaints about the hotel !. the breakfast room could be bigger. The hotel is centrally located so outside noise could can be a bit of an issue.Duvets were very small - not great for anyone over 5'10"!. The room is too small.Price is high during exhibition. Single room was very small. OK for one night if not spending much time in the room.The rooms facing the ventilation are quiet noisi - at it was not thesummer; I would expect cable tv. Regarding the cliens who stay at thishotel, I dont think that pay tv would be a problem. English just cnn. Lack of air conditioning.two out of three staff were exaggeratedly brusque; on enquiry about a street address one directed immediately to the nearby taxi rank (although the street was only 5 minutes walk away). otherwise okay. The room is very small. The carpet is old. The breakfast area is verycrowded during morning hours and not enough place to sit.
