The owner, Armani and his wife took care of me as if I had been a member of their family. They were so kind and caring, it was incredible. I will go back next year for the Berlinale, without a doubt. Plus the fact that the hotel is 5 minutes from a major u-bahn station, 10 min. away from the Berlinale center, in a lively but safe neighborhood. The hotel is very nice, located in the old building - keeps its atmosphere. Hotel's owners - Simone and her husband are so friendly, will solve any your problem and guide you what to see in Berlin. Breakfast is nice and so Germany-stylish. Very tasty bread! Room is clean and big enough, shower is clean, birds sing amazing in the yard!.

Small 2-star hotel in a gay-frendly district, husband and wife who manage the hotel are very very helpful and pleasant (Mrs. Simone spaeks seven languages included a good italian). Non-buffet but plenty and good breakfast, modern furniture, clean, comfortable, try it. Everything about our stay was perfect. Sabine is a wonderful host, the hotel was very pretty and spotlessly clean, and breakfast very yummy. The neighbourhood is great and the street very quiet. Will be staying here again!. Small, looks like family run hotel, very friendly staff - feel like at home. Great location: next to a very central metro station - 4 lines in one place, 24h grocery, a lot of not expensive caffees and restaurants. Very friendly staff, very centrally located and in my oppinion untoppable value for money, problemless WiFi included and good breakfast service. Will definitely be my next choice in Berlin again!. The staff was very friendly, hotel placed in old classic building, without elevator, in gay-friendly neighborhood. The breakfast was simply but very good,clean rooms and helpful service. Great breakfast made by a lovely lady. No luxury but fairly cheap. No telephone in my bedroom and no table where I could write. But I could use the dining room to work (I am a journalist), which was fine. vary small bathroom (2x1 mt), anyhow good shower. The interior is a little dated and the pillows unusually big but in general, nothing important that really matters. We always like to have the possibility to make tea or coffee at the hotelroom, that was not possible. no breakfast-buffet, so no fruits or yughurt or ..., but the choice was for us far enough, and the quality was very good. Bathroom in the corridor - not very comfortable, as not immediately next door to the room. Rooms was a bit chilly. The bed was terrible with a lot of noise (not for young couples). On breakfast was no vegetables, just were bread rolls, spreads and ham. The price was higher than the reward. The toilet is in a box like cabin inside the room. Decoration is very spartan but very true to what is described on the website. What you pay is what you get.
