  Very much enjoyed. This was probably the best value for rooms in Berlin. The location opposite Tempelhof was very good and the neighbourhood and shops were good too. The staff were friendly and courteous and I hope given that the airport is due to close that the hotel will be able to keep up its standards. - Excellent food in Bistro Columbia.

We were really only at the hotel for sleeping and breakfast. (Not so good if you expect to spend a lot of time in your room; e.g. no tv).   The hostel is located really in a very good place. There is underground just close to it and there are many good places to eat just near the entrance of the hostel.   The staff were very, very nice and helpful. The fact that the reception is open 24h is really nice as well. I liked the room, which was very clean, and well planned so that the fact that it was quite small didn't really matter. The bathroom was very nice and clean. I liked to location as well, it's calm and quiet but close to areas which - The value for money at Hotel Johann is excellent, beautiful and spacious room with high ceilings, there is no air condition in the hotel but even during hot days, room remained cool.... Excellent breakfast with top quality products/ingredients! This was a 2nd stay at Hotel Johann and we will certainly come back.
