  The coutreous, friendly staff went out of their way to assist. For us the location was great in a quiet spot, easy to park car.   The staff were very friendly and couldn't have done more for us. The room was tastefully decorated but a bit on the small side. The room was very clean and fresh towels were delivered every day. The hotel is ideally situated with regard to all of the major tourist attractions in the city.   The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They fulfilled immediately each requirement I gave them. My room was great, spacious, clean not noisy, and the beds were comfortable. Near the hotel there are - We stayed 3 nights in a triple room on the 2nd floor overlooking the front of the hotel. The room was a good size as we could fold the 3rd bed up to the wall giving more floor space and an extra shelf. The room was very effectively sound proofed, clean, with good hanging and shelf space, desk space with chair plus a large en suite with shower. The location in the old city was excellent with restaurants nearby and easy access to transport. English spoken by reception staff.

We shared with friends who used the fold out bed in the lounge, so it needs a bit of organisation for privacy, which was fine. Other reviews refer to an 'unsafe' area.   Although some of the hotel is a bit old fashioned, it is very clean, all the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, looking up sites on the net for trains and buses etc.(we were staying juring a weather alert and trains were all suspended and delayed).
